Jeon Jungkook, the punk who came to ruin me

I felt strangely strange. I knew that there was nothing good about hanging out with a punk like that, but I was somehow drawn to him. The moment my eyes met with Jeon Jungkook's, I felt a tingling sensation of electricity running through my body. I could feel it clearly. Ah, I'm going to get involved with him somehow.

“Let’s see… Where is Jungkook’s seat… …”

“I want to sit over there.”

The fact that Jeon Jungkook wanted to sit somewhere meant that he had decided on a target and started moving. Everyone except me swallowed their saliva. And the person Jeon Jungkook's fingertips touched was me.

“Yeoju?”

"yes."

“Yes, since Yeoju is the class president, Jungkook should take care of her. Everyone, get ready for class.”

History and my intuition were never wrong. As expected, I started to get involved with Jeon Jungkook, and as soon as the homeroom teacher left the classroom, Jeon Jungkook strode over and sat down next to me.

I naturally got up from my seat and took my music book out of my locker, and during that time, everyone seemed frozen, neither saying a word nor making a motion. I thought they were strange, but Jeon Jungkook's unusual appearance made sense. When I put my music book on the desk and sat down, Jeon Jungkook's eyes were fixed on me.

"hi."

After staring at me for a long time, Jeon Jungkook's first words were 'hello'. It was a much more ordinary greeting than I thought, but his eyes were different. I met Jeon Jungkook's eyes upon hearing his greeting, and the attention of all the kids in the class was focused on us.

“Okay, bye.”

“Your name is Yeoju? Kim Yeoju?”

“Uh. You?”

“I said it earlier… Jeon Jungkook.”

Of course I knew. I knew before he showed up in our classroom. Since the kids kept calling him Jeon Jungkook, Jeon Jungkook, it was hard to pretend not to know. When Jeon Jungkook answered with his head tilted slightly to the side, I nodded expressionlessly, and Jeon Jungkook started laughing loudly.

“Phew, you’re so funny?”

"what?"

“No, I just-. I like it.”

I liked you… I frowned because I didn’t know what that meant. However, Jeon Jungkook just kept smiling in an incomprehensible way even after seeing me like that, and everyone except me seemed to know. The person Jeon Jungkook was targeting was me.

It was about two days later that Jeon Jungkook started to really hang out with me. For a couple days, he stared at me so much that it felt uncomfortable, as if he was reading my patterns, and now he follows me around. He does so with a smile that seems to be teasing me. And I find Jeon Jungkook walking next to me very annoying.

"hey."

"jungkook jeon."

“Yeah, you.”

“I wish you would call me by my name.”

Jeon Jungkook is stubborn. To be exact, he is stubborn. Jeon Jungkook is not the type of person to listen to others and act on them without thinking. To put it nicely, you could say he has convictions? That's about it.

"… jungkook jeon."

"why?"

“Why on earth do you follow me around?”

On the way to the mobile class, I stopped in the hallway and looked straight at Jeon Jungkook. As we stopped in the middle of the hallway, the kids around us also stopped. Again. Jeon Jungkook was eating next to me, so I felt strangely interested in him.

It's burdensome when unwanted attention comes in, and people start to become sensitive. Since I thought that all of this was because of Jeon Jungkook, all my attention was focused on Jeon Jungkook.

“To ruin you.”

"what…?"

“You are my final target, Kim Yeo-ju.”

Jeon Jungkook whispered the answers to all my questions. So that no one but me could hear. Hearing that, I got goosebumps all over my body. But Jeon Jungkook was still smiling in an incomprehensible way.
