Young K brings out his hidden inner self… ‘Youngest’ perfected by honesty

DAY6's Young K has captured the story of Kang Young-hyun the human being, whom he has not easily shown before, through his second solo full-length album 'YOUNGEST'.

Looking back on the past 10 years during which he gave his all for DAY6, Young K stated that he now needed a process of getting to know himself as 'human Kang Young-hyun' rather than as artist Young K.

Young K revealed that the process of creating the album allowed him to look deeply into what he likes and dislikes, as well as the thoughts and emotions he lives with. In particular, by incorporating even stories he wanted to keep hidden—such as candid episodes with a friend—into his music, he has completed a work of even greater authenticity.
