In an interview, Young K (real name Kang Young-hyun) looked back on himself before joining JYP Entertainment and candidly confessed that he was “in the terminal stage of celebrity disease” and “a frog in a well.” He revealed that while there were moments when he overestimated his potential, going through his trainee life and debut process broadened his perspective on the world and made him realize the importance of consistent effort.
