Young K: “If a song comes out that surpasses the copyright royalties of ‘Pretty,’ I’ll scream in the middle of Gangnam.”

DAY6's Young K announced that he would fulfill a special pledge if a song is released that surpasses the copyright royalties of his hit song 'Pretty'.

In an interview ahead of the release of his second studio album 'YOUNGEST', when asked about royalties, Young K laughed and replied, “If a song comes out that surpasses ‘Pretty’, I think I’ll scream in the middle of Gangnam.”

He stated that "Pretty" holds special significance as it has been loved for a long time and has become a representative song of DAY6. He shared his honest wish, saying that he would be immensely happy as a composer and artist if their new songs were loved just as much.

This album, 'YOUNGEST', contains a total of 15 songs, including the title track 'Shut The Door', and Young K personally participated in writing and composing the songs to capture his honest stories.
