Min-gyu took on the lead role in the musical
I heard you've appeared in several musicals before.
I'm curious about how you act in musicals, since they're another genre.
DKZ Mingyu, title role in musical 'Zorro: Actor Musician'
Musical 'Zorro: Actor Musician'
Group DKZ member Mingyu will take on the title role in the musical 'Zorro: Actor Musician.'
According to his agency Dongyo Entertainment, Min-gyu will play the lead role of Zorro in the musical 'Zorro: Actor Musician', which opens on September 11.
He appears as Ro (Diego).
'Zorro: Actor Musician' is based on Isabel Ayandé's best-selling novel 'Zorro'. Set in early 19th century California,
Diego lived a free life like a gypsy, but returned to avenge his father and protect his hometown people, and he pursued justice.
It contains content about endless struggles for love.
In particular, this performance is an 'actor musician' version in which actors perform not only dancing, singing, and acting on stage, but also playing musical instruments.
It will unfold. Min-gyu, who plays the role of Zorro, is expected to portray the joys and sorrows of the charismatic hero Zorro in a three-dimensional way.
Mingyu, who debuted with DKZ in 2019, has appeared in many musicals such as 'The Three Musketeers', 'Secretly Greatly: THE LAST', and '5! Happy Man'.
Has appeared in a work.
Meanwhile, the musical 'Zorro: Actor Musician' starring Min-gyu will be held at the Insadong Theater in Jongno-gu, Seoul from September 11 to November 17.
It will be performed at the Terrace Uniplex.
