They say it is a collaboration between CJ ENM and Nippon TV.
The staff are mostly Koreans
It seems like there are a lot of Japanese actors?
'Merry Very Love' tells the sweet and sour love story of Korean space planner Lee Yu-bin (Ji Chang-wook) and Japanese female farmer Shirahama Karin (Imada Mio). Lee Yu-bin is a character who was once a successful space planner but lost everything overnight and heads to Charo Island. Shirahama Karin appears as a farmer cultivating strawberries on a farm inherited from her grandfather.
That is the explanation.
It feels like a typical romantic comedy story, but that kind of charm is actually kind of tasty.
Looking at the released photos, the chemistry with the female lead, Mio Imada, looks great, so I'm looking forward to it.

- 02CommentsIt was remade in Korea as well. It was also released as a movie, and the one starring Joy, *The Great Seducer*, is also based on this story.990026.09.17
