[Exclusive] Lee Jin-hyuk, 'congenital heart disease', exempted from military service
2024.11.27 11:55
According to an investigation by Xports News on the 27th, Jinhyuk Lee was exempted from military service due to a congenital heart disease.
Lee Jin-hyuk was born with a heart disease. He had surgery as a child due to symptoms of a heart valve not functioning properly, and he has been receiving regular checkups ever since. Lee Jin-hyuk also mentioned this on MBC's 'Radio Star' in 2019.
At the time, he said, "I thought everyone had a scar on their chest," and "I lost a lot of stamina compared to other idols while preparing to be an idol," causing regret.
Due to these circumstances, Lee Jin-hyuk was unable to fulfill his military duty. It has been reported that Lee Jin-hyuk is still visiting the hospital regularly and is working hard to manage his chronic illness.
Congenital heart disease? Oh my gosh ㅠㅠ
Take care of yourself and I hope you stay healthy for a long time.
