KM Chart identifies the key players who led K-MUSIC in the second quarter of this year.

The global standard K-pop chart 'KM Chart' has revealed the list of nominees for the '2026 KM Chart Season Best Summer' (hereinafter '2026 Season Best Summer') and will conduct voting for a total of 7 categories until the 14th.

The '2026 Season Best Summer' awards recognize the most popular artists and songs from the second quarter (April–June) of 2026. Awards will be presented in a total of seven categories, including music, artists, and performances. With a large number of popular artists nominated on the list, such as BTS, BLACKPINK, I.O.I, IVE, Le Seraphim, Lim Young-woong, and Lee Chan-won, heated voting is expected.

First, a total of 20 songs were nominated in the 'BEST K-MUSIC' (Digital Music) category, including BTS's 'SWIM', BLACKPINK's 'JUMP', IVE's 'BANG BANG', IOI's 'Suddenly', AILIT's 'It's Me', AKMU's 'Joy, Sadness, Beautiful Heart' and 'Paradise of Rumor', aespa's 'LEMONADE', Lee Chan-won's 'Somehow Today', and Lim Young-woong's 'Like a Moment for Eternity'.

A total of 17 people (teams) were nominated in the 'BEST K-MUSIC ARTIST' category, including Le Seraphim, BTS, BOYNEXTDOWN, NCT WIX, Young Tak, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, TOWERS, PLAYVE, and HARKS TO HARKS.

In the 'BEST HOT CHOICE' (Popularity) male category, a total of 16 individuals (teams) including V, Jin, Jimin, and Jungkook (BTS), Kang Daniel, The Boyz, Monsta X, Seventeen, Stray Kids, N-Sign, Jang Min-ho, and TREASURE will compete, and in the female category, a total of 20 individuals (teams) including Dreamcatcher, Le Seraphim, Baby Monster, B.Biz.G, Billie, Suzy, XG, IZ*ONE, Kepler, QWER, and TWICE will compete.

In the 'BEST ROOKIE' (Rookie) men's division, a total of 7 individuals (teams) including LNGSHOT, MODYSSEY, AHOF, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, AND2BLE, CORTIS, and KEYVITUP will compete for the title of best rookie, while in the women's division, a total of 8 individuals (teams) including Baby DONT Cry, AtHeart, UNCHILD, S2IT, ALLDAY PROJECT, ifeye, KiiiKiii, and HADES will compete.
