2. How long is the wait? An honest review of advance reservations & on-site waiting.
I'll summarize the waiting and entry tips that everyone is most curious about!
Advance Reservation & Check-in Method Pre-registration opened via KakaoTalk Reservation, and it was seriously as competitive as buying tickets. Even if you missed the pre-registration, don't be too discouraged, as they accept on-site waiting list registrations starting at 10:30 AM every day! If you check in using the QR code near the entrance, you can receive your waiting number via KakaoTalk.
Waiting time status Morning time slot: Maybe because they limited the number of people inside, the line moved incredibly fast!
Afternoon hours: During peak time, the waiting numbers went up to the 200s! At that time, it took about 2 to 2.5 hours to get in.
Waiting Tip: Since it's inside I-Park Mall, time flies by while you shop and eat with the air conditioning blasting, so I highly recommend putting your name on the waiting list and hanging out!
Parallel Cover Book: From poetry collections and Korean literature to The Essentials and the World Literature Collection! These are limited editions featuring character covers. (Highly recommend *Adventures of Huckleberry Finn*, *Myeongsimbogam*, *The Devil Lives Diligently*, and *Les Miserables*!)
Parallel Cover Blank Notebooks (18 Types): 4,500 won each (Great value for money!)
Die-cut Postcards (18 types): 2,500 won each
DIY Acrylic Keyrings (6 Types): 9,900 won (It's really fun to peel off the vinyl layer and combine them however I want!)
DIY Perpetual Calendar & Stamp Puncher: If you buy a calendar, they give you a stamp-shaped hole punch when you pay, and this seriously hits the heart of a stationery enthusiast...
Gacha (Random Draw): The lenticular bookmark gacha (changes into a character illustration when you change the angle!) and the Busil Gamja Semunjeon keyring gacha are the most popular!
Others: Smartphone cases, Grip Toks, book record set (19,900 won), board games, etc.
4. Frequently Asked Questions (Q&A)
Q1. I want to go with a friend or partner. Is joint entry allowed? A. No! KakaoTalk reservations are limited to one ticket per person, so if you wish to enter together, you must each book tickets for the same time slot using your own account. You will also need to check in separately at the venue!
Q2. If I register for the on-site waiting list, does it take a long time to enter? A. It depends on the time of day. If you visit early in the morning (before 11 AM), the queue turns quickly, so you can enter within 10 to 20 minutes. However, during the afternoon peak time (2 PM to 5 PM), you may experience a wait of over 2 hours!
Q3. Can I use Minum Book Club member benefits or points on-site? A. Unfortunately, since this pop-up store is a collaboration rather than an exclusive Minumsa event, Minum Book Club points cannot be used. However, you can earn I'Park Mall points, so please make sure to claim them!
