Hello~ What variety shows are you watching on Tuesday nights these days? 😳 It's been hard to see 'real eccentrics' like these since Star King, but they've finally returned! Right here. TV CHOSUN's new variety show, Ten Million People Show It is, Hosted by Kang Ho-dong There was immense anticipation even before the broadcast because I heard they took on the role. In fact, I heard the reaction to the first episode was extraordinary, so today I’ve compiled everything from the program details to the content of the first episode 🔥

1. What kind of program is the Ten Million Eccentrics Show?

The Ten Million People Show A performance variety show where Korea's national treasure-level eccentrics and top stars meet to challenge for '10 million views' It is. Last First broadcast on TV CHOSUN at 10 PM on September 1st I started.

The MCs are Kang Ho-dong and Boom They took charge of it, and it was reportedly the first time in a whole year that the two stood on the same stage. Kang Ho-dong introduced the show by saying, "The Ten Million Talent Show is the first program where you have to perform while singing," clearly highlighting the unique character of the program.

The scoring method is also unique. A structure where one "Kiin" and one "Star" form a team and are evaluated by a national judging panel for a total maximum score of 400 points, with 200 points for the Kiin and 200 points for the Star. I heard that. They say the final winning team will receive a prize of 10 million won 💰

2. First broadcast viewership ratings and reaction were extraordinary

To start with the result, it was amazing! According to Nielsen Korea, it recorded a nationwide viewership rating of 3.8% and a peak rating of 4.2%. And with these figures, it ranked first in viewership ratings among variety shows in the same time slot across all channels, including terrestrial broadcasters. It was a really smooth start for a new variety show.

3. A lineup of eccentrics, I didn't expect it to be this good

Balancing artist Byun Nam-seok successfully completed an ultra-difficult mission: stacking glass bottles of different sizes and weights and slippery stainless steel bowls, setting a candle on a moving picture frame, and finally, even standing up the motorcycle Lee So-na was riding. 😳

Jeon A-ram, an aerial silk artist active for 14 years, showcased a vertical drop and flight performance from a height of about 10 meters relying on a single piece of cloth without any safety equipment; it is said that Kang Ho-dong shed tears during this performance. She received 192 points, the highest score among the performers that day.

4. You can't miss the stars' dramatic transformations either.

Jinseong, dubbed the "BTS of Trot," took on a balancing art challenge while singing "Don't Tackle Me," increasing the difficulty by balancing on a chair, a makgeolli glass, and an empty bottle. Before the challenge, he remarked, "At our age, joints struggle and backs ache," yet he also expressed a solemn determination, stating, "Once I set foot in the entertainment industry, this body is no longer mine," which touched many hearts.

Heo Chan-mi, who has a fear of heights, endured tears and even an injury during practice, but she completed the aerial silk spin move while singing 'Goose's Dream.' Son Bin-ah, who sang 'Summertime,' revealed that she lost 10kg during practice and took on the challenge of power dance sport. Finally, Chun-gil passionately sang 'Amor Fati,' executing Pump It Up and B-boying freezes, but reportedly made a mistake due to exhaustion and collapsed from burnout after the performance. 😭 Nevertheless, applause poured in for his fighting spirit in completing the performance to the very end.

5. The stage that made Kang Ho-dong cry

The scene that became the most talked-about was, as expected, Kang Ho-dong's tears. Kang Ho-dong, who was watching Jeon A-ram's breathtaking aerial silk performance, kept his eyes clasped together and could not take his eyes off her; after the show ended, he wiped away tears with the back of his hand and remarked, "Tears welled up without me realizing it." They say she conveyed that. When she showed a sentimental side instead of her trademark tiger charisma, the audience reacted by saying, "It's 100% menopause," which became a humorous highlight. 😂
