'2026 La La La On' kicks off its grand journey this week… 3 stages open in Seoul and Sokcho
[OSEN=Reporter Choi Yi-jeong] Korea's largest live music festival, '2026 La La La On,' is finally unveiled. Starting today (the 9th), the curtain rises in earnest on the relay live performances connecting Seoul and Sokcho.
According to the Korea Music Label Industry Association, '2026 La La La On' will open its first week of live performances starting in the second week of September at three major venues in Seoul and Sokcho, Gangwon Province, featuring a total of nine indie musicians.
The prelude to this first week's grand journey begins on the 9th at 8 PM at Gongsang Ondo in Mapo-gu, Seoul. Confided White, who has captivated a fan base with their unrivaled sound; Ghost Bookstore, who embodies a distinctive literary sensibility; and singer-songwriter Ryeojin, who delivers a deep resonance, will take the stage to raise the excitement.
Then, at 8 PM on the 10th, the stage moves to Space Hong in Seoul, where emotional R&B singer-songwriter A-Train, Wings of Ideals—synonymous with overwhelming rock sound—and Bigongsong, who presents a unique worldview, will continue the moving performance.
The highlight of the first week takes place in Sokcho, Gangwon-do. On the stage at the Small Theater & Music Creation Studio Chosok at 8 p.m. on the 11th, three teams—Plain on Mars, Damdam, and The Bowls—are expected to deliver an overwhelming live performance that closely connects with local music fans.
With tickets for a total of 53 performances opening sequentially, shows selling out immediately upon the start of booking have signaled an unprecedented indie live craze this autumn.
The association expressed anticipation, stating, "Starting with the stages in Seoul and Sokcho this first week, a colorful feast of music will unfold every week across the country until November," and added, "It will be a special opportunity to experience the musicians' unique live performances close to everyday life."
In particular, in the upcoming October, the event will expand its reach to 23 venues nationwide, including not only Seoul (Unplugged Hongdae, Club Freebird, Salon Moonbow, etc.) but also Chuncheon, Gangwon (KT&G Sangsang Madang Chuncheon Sound Hall), Daegu (Live Small Theater Rock King), and Busan (Vinyl Underground), with a total of 69 teams of musicians set to heat up the country. All tickets for '2026 La La La On' will be sold exclusively through the designated ticketing agency 'To the Moon (2TM)', and no tickets will be sold on-site.
