‘James Byron Dean’ Yoon Seo-bin Transforms into James Dean… Homage to the 71st Anniversary of His Death

Actor and singer Yoon Seo-bin released a tribute pictorial to mark the 71st anniversary of James Dean's death.

Yoon Seo-bin unveiled a pictorial on the 30th through his official social media and fan community to commemorate September 30, 1955, the day James Dean passed away. The pictorial features Yoon Seo-bin recreating the style symbolizing James Dean against a backdrop of a 1950s atmosphere.

In the pictorial, Yoon Seo-bin created different atmospheres using a leather jacket and a red jacket. In the shot wearing a black leather jacket, he portrayed the image of James Dean, looking at the camera with his arms crossed against a rough-textured wall background.

He also showcased a red jacket style reminiscent of James Dean from the movie 'Rebel Without a Cause'. Yoon Seo-bin reinterpreted the look of James Dean from the film by matching a red jacket with a white T-shirt and denim pants, and gazing at the camera with the collar turned up.

Yoon Seo-bin is currently taking the stage as James Dean in the musical *James Byron Dean: The Original*. The production is a two-person play that uses imagination to reconstruct the last five minutes leading up to James Dean's death following a car accident in 1955. In the play, Yoon Seo-bin portrays James Dean, who possesses the loneliness, anxiety, and yearning for life that lie behind his success.

Yoon Seo-bin, who encountered the life and artistic world of James Dean while preparing and performing the work, captured his feelings of remembrance and respect for him in this pictorial.

Meanwhile, the musical 'James Byron Dean: The Original' starring Yoon Seo-bin will be performed at Link Art Center Dream Hall 4 in Daehak-ro, Seoul until October 18.
