You know that drama that's the first thing you see when you turn on Netflix these days 😆
'Charge Me,' which became a hot topic as soon as it was revealed featuring the Kim Young-kwang × Chae Soo-bin combination!
I was going to just look at the poster and dismiss it, thinking, "Another chaebol contract romance?"
I've seen so many reviews saying that they actually started episode 1, and before they knew it, they were watching the ending credits of episode 10 🔥
So today, I’ve put together everything from basic information to the original work, plot, ending, and my honest review.
⚠️ This contains spoilers for the ending, so please be careful if you haven't watched it yet!

2. Original Web Novel and Basic Plot
The original work is the Naver web novel of the same name by author Haebeon 📖
After Na Bo-bae was struck by lightning when she was young, electricity began to flow through her body.
They say that because he electrocutes anyone he just touches, he couldn't even properly hug his family, let alone date. 😭
As a result, I became a writer who absolutely cannot write love scenes in romance scripts.
But the electricity doesn't flow only to Baekhorang!
Horang was in crisis when the hospital experienced a power outage during artificial heart battery replacement surgery,
Thanks to Bobae's electricity, I survive.
The problem is that I have to endure three months until the re-surgery, and I need to stay by Bobae's side during that time to recharge my battery!
They even say that the more intense the physical contact, the faster it recharges 💡
So, the two of them sign a three-month cohabitation contract.
In return, Bobae sets a condition that they fulfill her 'romance bucket list' together.
3. Development in the second half (Episodes 6–9)
During a commercial shoot in Jeju Island, Eunho confesses his feelings to Bobae, but Bobae rejects him, saying she has someone she likes.
Meanwhile, Han Seol-hee spread rumors about Bo-bae and Eun-ho's relationship, and
As Bobae is surrounded by fans at the airport, her electricity runs wild, causing a blackout throughout the entire airport ⚡
The tiger protecting the treasure gets injured on the falling structure.
Blaming herself, Bobae pushes Horang away, but
When the Tiger ends up standing at the press conference regarding embezzlement and corruption due to Doyoon's scheme, he eventually appears at the venue.
Horang, who was afraid of camera flashes, safely finished the press conference and confessed.
The two become a real couple in Episode 7 💕
For reference, Secretary Yoon, who seemed suspicious at first, was on Tiger's side until the end, and
There was also a twist that the real spy was Secretary Lee!
4. Recharge Me Ending, The Reason Bobae's Electricity Disappeared
The final crisis erupts on TS Group's founding anniversary, the very day of Horang's succession announcement 😱
Doyoon locks Bobae and Secretary Yoon in a secluded temple and feeds Horang alcohol laced with poison.
Eventually, the tiger runs out of battery and collapses from cardiac arrest.
Bobae, who broke down the door and escaped using electricity she had kept hidden all her life
He pours all of his electricity into the fallen tiger to bring it back to life.
Horang succeeds in the reoperation, but the doctor warns that Bobae's strong electricity could now overload the artificial heart.
Furthermore, after that day, electricity stopped coming out of Bobae's body, because she had used up too much power all at once.
Afraid of not knowing when she might return, Bobae leaves silently for her parents' house in Daejeon 😢
The awakened tiger left everything behind, went all the way to Daejeon to formally greet his parents, and
I sincerely tell them not to tell me to leave, saying that I will find a way myself.
Meanwhile, Doyoon is arrested for drunk driving and assaulting a police officer, and is kicked out of the company.
At Secretary Yoon's request to return, Bobae takes Horang's hand and returns to Seoul together,
Grandmother Gong Man-seol, the chairwoman, also shows that she will not oppose it for now.
The ending is a happy one where Bobae, having made her debut as a drama writer, watches the first broadcast side by side with Horang ✨
5. Honest Reviews and Ratings
The Watchapedia rating is 3.2 out of 5, which is just average. are you.
👍 What I liked
Kim Young-kwang and Chae Soo-bin's height difference chemistry and heart-fluttering acting
An ending where the electricity wasn't cleanly cut off, but left in a state of 'unknown when it might return.'
The heartwarming charm of Cha Woo-min, the devoted younger man
👎 Areas for improvement
Arranged marriages, power struggles for succession, and even kidnapping—it’s a chaebol family plot that tastes all too familiar.
The probability that the conflict is conveniently resolved
At over an hour per episode, it is a bit too long to watch casually.
Still, it is a show that keeps you going until the end just for the actors' chemistry.
I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to clear their head and feel a flutter in their heart this weekend 💕
