BTS, BIGBANG, Lim Young-woong… KM Chart Reveals October Monthly Chart Nominees

According to KM Chart on the 15th, voting for the October 2026 monthly chart will take place across a total of six categories until the 24th.

This October chart also foreshadowed fierce competition, with a large number of top-tier domestic and international artists representing K-pop and major newcomers being nominated.

First, in the K-MUSIC (Digital Music) category, a total of 50 songs that heated up the music industry were nominated, including BTS's 'SWIM', Big Bang's 'BiiiG', AKMU's 'Joy, Sadness, Beautiful Heart', ATEEZ's 'BAD', Young Tak's 'Bend', Lee Chan-won's 'Somehow Today', Lim Young-woong's 'Again and Again', Kiki's '404 (New Era)', Playve's 'Star Trace', and Han Roro's '0+0'.

In the K-MUSIC ARTIST category, a total of 30 artists (teams), including D.O. (EXO), Rize, Monsta X, BTS, Boy Next Door, Blackpink, SHINee, Stray Kids, (G)I-DLE, IU, aespa, N.MIX, NCT Wish, ENHYPEN, CORTIS, and Tomorrow X Together, will compete for the top spot.

In the HOT CHOICE (Popularity) Male category, determined by direct fan choices, Kang Daniel, Kihyun (MONSTA X), Kim Sung-kyu (INFINITE), Park Ji-hoon, SEVENTEEN, A-HOP, ANDBLE, Jang Min-ho, G-Dragon, and TREASURE were named. In the Female category, Kwon Eun-bi, Le Seraphim, Baby Monster, BB-Biz, Sunmi, Say My Name, STAYC, Ailit, IZ*NA, QWER, and TWICE were nominated.

In the male ROOKIE category, which will lead the next generation of K-pop, 10 teams—NAZE, LNGSHOT, MODYSSEY, VAYONN, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, AEN, AM8IC, KEYVITUP, TUNEXX, and hrtz.wav—are competing. In the female category, 10 teams—dodree, LATENCY, UNCHILD, S2IT, AFuture, OWIS, Keyveatz, HADES, H//PE Princess, and HEART OF WOMAN—are vying for the once-in-a-lifetime Rookie of the Year award.
