From the presence of post-credits scenes in the highly anticipated 2026 movie *Verity* to the ending of the original novel, spine-chilling plot twist spoilers, and even an analysis of the bonus chapters! We have perfectly organized everything for easy viewing at a glance.

1. Is there a post-credits scene for the movie Verity?

When the ending credits roll at the end of a movie, aren't there many of you who turn on your phone's flashlight and search, wondering, "Do I have to wait for a post-credits scene?"

Let me get straight to the point! There is no post-credits scene in the movie *Verity*!

It is said that the OTT streaming will first be released on Amazon Prime Video! If you missed it in theaters, it is the perfect time to binge-watch it on Prime Video later!

2. Brief Plot Summary of Verity

Lowen (Dakota Johnson), an unknown writer, receives an offer to ghostwrite the remaining popular series for Verity (Anne Hathaway), a top-class bestselling author who is bedridden after a major car accident.

Guided by Verity's husband, Jeremy (Josh Hartnett), Lowen stays at Crawford Manor and begins investigating ghostwritten materials. While doing so, he discovers a shocking, unpublished manuscript of Verity's autobiography in a corner of the mansion.

The manuscript contained Verity’s insane obsession with her husband, Jeremy, and the cruel and bizarre truth surrounding the deaths of their two twin daughters. Feeling the suspicious gaze of Verity, who lay in the mansion in a coma-like state, Lowen gradually descends into extreme psychological terror and confusion.

3. Shocking! Original Novel Ending & Twist Spoilers (Manuscript vs. Letter)

The real gem of this work is the battle for the truth between the 'manuscript vs. the letter' at the end. It is a legendary twist that doesn't confirm what is real even after you close the last chapter, keeping readers debating amongst themselves all night long!

💥 Plot Twist 1: Verity was acting?

After reading the autobiography manuscript, Lowen becomes convinced that Verity is the psychopath who killed his daughter. But actually, Verity had been pretending to be brain dead and unable to move her body at all since the accident! She was secretly watching Rowen inside the mansion.

💥 Twist 2: Discovery of a Hidden 'Letter'

Lowen and Jeremy deceive Verity and eventually murder her. However, after Verity's death, Lowen discovers a hidden letter Verity left for her husband, Jeremy. The contents of the letter were completely contrary to the autobiography manuscript she had read so far!

Claim in the autobiography manuscript: "I loved my husband so much that I was jealous of the children, and eventually I killed my daughter with my own hands."

Claim in the last letter: "That manuscript is fiction! It was a 'writing training' document designed to help me immerse myself in writing the villain in the novel. Harper's death was an accident, but Jeremy mistook the manuscript for real and tried to run me over with his car. I was faking being brain dead to survive!"

Ultimately, readers and the audience are plunged into a massive ambiguity: "Is the manuscript by Verity, the psychopath who killed the child, the truth?" or "Is the letter by Verity, who claims to have written a false manuscript to survive, the truth?"

4. The truly spine-chilling content of the 2022 Collector's Edition bonus chapter

The tables were completely turned when author Cullen Hoover added a 'bonus chapter' to the hardcover collector's edition published in 2022!

After Verity's death, Jeremy and Rowen get married, have a new child, and live happily. Then, on the beach, they meet a woman named Patricia who knew Verity in the past. Upon seeing the new child's age, Patricia begins to suspect something, asking, "Wait, weren't the two of them having an affair even before Verity died?"

So what did Jeremy do? He murders Patricia without hesitation, simply because he felt she threatened his secrets and his family!

With the release of this bonus chapter, readers said, Whoa... So Jeremy was a real lunatic? Then isn't it true that Jeremy tried to kill Verity, just like in Verity's letter? and The letter has tilted strongly toward the truth!
