BBQ is raising its recommended consumer prices by an average of 6.3%, the first increase in two years since May 2022.

Genesis BBQ Group announced on the 21st that it will be raising the recommended consumer prices of 23 out of 110 BBQ products starting on the 23rd.

'Golden Olive Chicken Fried' increased by 3,000 won from 20,000 won to 23,000 won, and 'Jamaican Grilled Chicken Leg' increased by 3,000 won from 21,500 won to 24,000 won.

BBQ explained that the reason for this price adjustment was that it was an inevitable measure taken due to the deterioration in franchisee profits caused by the rapid increase in raw material and auxiliary material prices, minimum wage, rent, and other utility costs (such as gas and electricity bills).
