YouTuber 'Taldeoksuyongso' attended the trial. He is accused of defaming Kang Daniel. This is the first time he has been caught by the media.

The 18th Criminal Division of the Seoul Central District Court (Judge Lee Jun-goo) held a trial for Mr. Park of the Taldeok Detention Center on the 27th. Mr. Park is charged with violating the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (defamation).

Park had her face tightly covered by glasses and a mask. She wore a pink shirt and a white long skirt. She was accompanied by a lawyer. When asked about her occupation, she said, "I run an online shopping mall."

Park's attorney admitted to producing and posting the video, but denied that he had any intention to defame her. He claimed, "I did not intend to defame her. Park posted it knowing it was true."

The court asked again, “Did you not know that it was false?” The defense attorney said, “I did not know. The prosecution must prove the falsity.” He emphasized, “The defendant believed it to be true.”

Mr. Park is facing trial after trial. He also sued 'Ive' Jang Won-young and his agency Starship. He filed a civil suit after receiving information about Mr. Park from Google. Jang Won-young won the first trial.

After that, Mr. Park hired a lawyer and appealed. The second trial court referred the case to mediation. It was thought that the two sides could resolve the issue through agreement. However, the case broke down on the 14th. The legal battle is expected to continue.

Mr. Park is also facing a criminal trial. Incheon District Prosecutors' Office Criminal Division 1 (Chief Prosecutor Lee Gon-ho) indicted Mr. Park without detention on charges of defamation and insult under the Information and Communications Network Act.
