Go Hyun-jung explains bullying rumors from 6 years ago

As the two sides' claims sharply diverged, the public also became confused. SBS and the drama staff expressed their dissatisfaction, saying, "It is true that Go Hyun-jung cursed and pushed the PD," and mentioning what the actress had demanded on set. In addition, rumors that Go Hyun-jung assaulted the director came out, and at the same time, there was a counterargument that the director had acted excessively toward Go Hyun-jung. As the two sides made conflicting claims, it seemed like things were going from bad to worse.

In the end, an unprecedented situation occurred where the lead actor was replaced in the middle of the drama. Regarding this, Go Hyun-jung's side stated, "We received notice of her departure from SBS 'Return', and Go Hyun-jung took responsibility and decided to step down from the drama. We also did not know that we would have to step down," and "The assault rumor is ridiculous. There was no assault on set."

Even after Go Hyun-jung left the show, rumors of her bullying continued to spread in many dramas. However, six years after the rumors began, Go Hyun-jung herself spoke out about the bullying rumors and revealed her grievances for the first time.
