David Fincher to Direct 'Ogem' Remake
It has been reported that the Netflix original series 'Squid Game' (directed by Hwang Dong-hyeok) will be remade in an English version in the United States.
On the 24th (local time), the American Playlist reported that director David Fincher, famous for 'Seven', 'Gone Girl', and 'The Social Network', will direct a Hollywood remake of 'Calamari Game'.
According to reports, director David Fincher has been working on a remake of 'Calamari Game' for the past two years, and Dennis Kelly, who wrote the screenplay for 'Utopia' and the film version of 'Matilda', is said to be in charge of the script.
David Fincher was previously scheduled to produce a prequel series to 'Chinatown', but after the release of 'Squid Games', it was reported that he postponed the work on the 'Chinatown' prequel and focused on 'Squid Games'.

I'm excited to see a famous director take on the remake! The American version will likely be even more brutal...
