Jiyeon and Hwang Jae-gyun, sudden divorce rumors from the community… Close aides say, “Unfounded”
According to the writer, during a radio broadcast of a game between the Lotte Giants and the Kia Tigers on Busan-Gyeongnam area broadcaster KNN, a comment regarding Hwang Jae-gyun's divorce was made.
The writer did not appear on the actual broadcast because it was airing a commercial, but the writer brought up divorce rumors, saying that the conversation between the commentators was recorded unfiltered in the radio broadcast that was aired on YouTube.
The marriage was less than two years old when divorce rumors began, but the conclusion was that it was 'fake news'. Regarding the divorce rumors, Jiyeon's former agency's CEO drew the line, saying, "After hearing the news and checking with Jiyeon, it is groundless."
