Singer Wheesung, who was embroiled in a propofol controversy, announced a comeback this winter.

On the 3rd, Wheesung announced on his SNS, "The REALSLOW 1st album that I'm currently preparing is being made with all songs rated 19+. It's currently about 40% complete and I'm aiming for a release this winter."

He continued, “The level is high, so I ask listeners who are usually resistant to provocative media not to have high expectations in the first place,” and “I have often released R&B numbers like this since my debut, and it is not something that is particularly unusual, but I would like to warn you in advance. He added, "I wanted to."

Wheesung was indicted on charges of habitually administering propofol (violating the Narcotics Control Act) on several occasions from September to November 2019, and was sentenced to one year in prison and two years of probation in the appeal trial. Since then, he has not appeared in public. His last album was the digital single 'I Remember' released in March 2019.

However, Wheesung was still a public figure during this period. He was criticized by the public for his actions that were far from reflective, such as holding a year-end concert in December 2021, two months after receiving a suspended sentence, and participating in a drama OST.

In July of last year, he posted on SNS, “If there is a person who claims that depression is fake, a delusion or a delusion, then he is the worst murderer of our time. Because of that, I want to die even more,” causing concern among fans. Did.

Wheesung has declared his full-fledged return to the entertainment industry, announcing a new album to be released this winter. People are curious about what kind of music he will present after about 5 years, and what the public will think of him as he returns to his main career.
