After listening to PLAYVE’s 5th mini album, I couldn’t really listen to other songs for a while. *Hyperdrive* was released at 6 PM on October 12th, and the title track is *Star Trace*. Since I had been waiting for this for a long time, I listened intently right from the first song. The sound exploded so clearly that I found myself walking faster while wearing my earphones.

I looked up some articles and found out that all five tracks from the album ranked consecutively from 1st to 5th on the Melon Top 100. The five new songs also made it into the Top 5 on Genie and Bugs. I felt inexplicably proud seeing my favorite group achieve such great results. It was even more surprising considering the results were released at midnight on the day of release.

I liked the title track with its heavy beat overlaid on an EDM sound, but I also listened to the song "Kkun" on repeat for a long time. Since the album features songs with different colors, there wasn't a dull moment. This time, the world tour follows immediately. Starting in Singapore on October 17, they will perform in Taipei on October 23 and 24.

In the released group image, five members wearing racing jackets and goggles are standing under a blue sky. One person is lying on a car with their legs stretched out, while the others are posing leisurely behind them.
