Rise's "Do Your Dance" makes its first entry into the US Mediabase Top 40 Radio Chart.
Rise's second mini-album title track, "Do Your Dance," has entered the U.S. Mediabase Top 40 Radio Chart for the first time. It reportedly ranked 40th in the charts compiled from August 9th to 15th.
Mediabase reportedly publishes charts every week based on transmission data from major U.S. radio stations. It is said to be highly significant as it serves as an indicator of popularity in the North American market.
It was played on about 130 radio stations during the counting period and was the most played K-pop song on channels such as Most Requested Live and iHeart K-Pop.
"Do Your Dance" is a dance song that captures Rize's free energy and confidence. The performance has also become a hot topic, featuring point choreography set to the lyrics "Head, hips, shoulders, toes" and a composition that showcases the chemistry of the six members.
It is said that in June, when the album was released, it received rave reviews from international media outlets such as Billboard, Genius, V Magazine, The Clash, and Doc. Related short videos also reportedly surpassed 100 million cumulative views on TikTok.
It was even more welcome news that it entered the US radio charts two months after its release. I can feel that Rise's songs are being consistently heard overseas as well.
