(Seoul = News 1) Reporter Kim Min-ji = Boy group SHINee member Taemin has been confirmed as the MC for 'Road to Kingdom'.

According to the News 1 report on the 3rd, Taemin will be the host of Mnet's boy group survival show 'Road to Kingdom', which will be renewed and launched in the second half of this year.

I came out.

Taemin, who debuted as a member of SHINee in 2008, showed off his solid skills as the team's main dancer and vocalist. Since 2014,

He has also been active as a solo singer, showing off his all-rounder side by perfectly performing both vocals and performances on his own.

Thanks to this, Taemin has been consistently mentioned as a 'role model' by many boy group members. He has been focusing on his singing career for over 10 years.

Taemin, who has been building up his skills, will appear as an MC for 'Road to Kingdom' and will also play the role of mentor to junior boy groups.

I'm looking forward to it.

He also appeared as a mentor in the past KBS 2TV 'Idol Rebooting Project - The Unit', but he has never appeared on a survival program alone.

As this is the first time hosting, expectations are high for 'MC Taemin's' performance.

Meanwhile, 'Road to Kingdom', which is being revived after 4 years, is going to stand on its own through a large-scale rebranding. The sequel, 'Kingdom'

Unlike the previous work, which was more like a prequel program to get a boy with enough skills and potential, this time it is

As part of Mnet's unique 'K-Pop Boy Group Rising Project' that sheds new light on the groups, 'Road to Kingdom' was held.

Brand it as poison.

As it has undergone a new makeover, a differentiated composition from the previous format is also expected. 'Road to Kingdom', which will be presented for the first time in about 4 years since the previous work,

In addition to the bloody competition, the reality element has also been further strengthened to fully showcase the hidden charms of the cast.

I plan to do it.

The newly rebranded 'Road to Kingdom' will premiere in September.
