The story of the six members in the Tours album

Reading the story behind the creation of Tours' single album TO US makes me listen to the songs with a different perspective. I heard that before starting work on the album, they interviewed each of the six members about what they feared and the moments when they regained strength. It is impressive that those answers became the foundation of the album.

Knowing that the members expressed their time of anxiety and growth through music, the word "us" in the title feels even closer. It is also heartwarming that the story, which recalled the people who lifted them up during tough times, led to feelings for the fans. It makes me reflect on how precious the honest conversations shared while creating the song must have been.

It is said that Youngjae, Shinyu, and Dohun participated in writing the lyrics for the title track "Call My Name," and that jazz pianist Yoon Seok-chul also contributed his performance. I want to listen closely to the parts where the piano's atmosphere and rhythm blend together. I think even a single line of the lyrics will resonate differently if you listen knowing the members' stories.

It is said that the track 'WE UP' contains the desire to grow and reach a bigger stage, while 'Heavy' tells a story that comforts weary youth. It would be nice to follow the flow of these different stories connecting within one album. I will be cheering for Tours to share their new stories in the future.
