Tomorrow X Together: The Way to Depict Waiting

투모로우바이투게더 기다림을 그리는 방식

The way pre-release interest is expressed can also be part of the album. Tomorrow X Together's 9th mini album, PERFECT STORM, connected Spotify pre-saving with the album concept. What stands out is that they didn't leave the wait before the music release as merely checking the schedule. It is an attempt to transform the participation itself into a scene.

Pre-saving began on September 28. The number of participants on the first day increased by approximately 3.5 times compared to the same period for the previous title. However, the magnitude of the increase is not the only interesting aspect here. It is the fact that the radar page, released on September 30, visualized the participation status. It is reported that storm images were activated in about 6,600 locations before two weeks had passed since the launch.

Presenting data solely in numbers makes it impossible to see participants who are far apart. On the other hand, connecting locations with images allows us to consider where the anticipation is gathering. Of course, pre-saving participation does not guarantee the album's quality or future performance. It is necessary to distinguish between participation status and evaluation of the music.

The new album is scheduled for release on November 16th. I am curious to see how the promotion leading up to that date will carry on the album's theme. It is worth noting that they didn't stop at simply explaining the name "Storm," but used it as a tool to express the fans' anticipation. Now, it is time to see how that visual concept connects with the music.
