Please forget how you felt before, I will try my best to create new settings!!! Hahahaha.
This story,
It happened in a European country long ago.
Vampires are rampant in this country, and the people are gripped by fear.
Aya is a saint at a local church.
In an effort to suppress vampires, the king summoned many vampire hunters. He also heard that vampires seemed to fear holy water and other sacred things, so he recruited priests and others from various churches, even the people from Aya's little chapel.
"Aya, I'm entrusting everything here to you." The priest pleaded with Aya before leaving. "Aya, you're not an ordinary child; protect the local people..."
"I..." I'm not that amazing...
But who dared to disobey the king's orders?
"Okay, I understand." He could only nod.
And so, she was left all alone in the large church.
Although Aya had never seen a vampire, she was very timid. She was an orphan, taken in and raised by a priest, and had always lived with everyone in the church. Now, she was going to sleep alone...
During the day, some people would come to pray, but at night she was all alone, because vampires were most rampant at night. The priest told her that vampires generally wouldn't come in, but she was still afraid, carrying garlic and a crucifix with her every day: "No, please don't let me encounter a vampire."
However, the things you least want to encounter are the things you most likely to encounter.
One night, she was awakened by the sound of a violent fight outside.
Startled, she quickly put on her coat, grabbed a candle, some garlic, and a cross, and ran to the church nave to pray.
With a loud "bang!", glass shattered on the ground, and a person was knocked in front of Aya.
"Ah—!" Aya screamed in fright.
Then another person flew in, carrying a longsword that was glowing with blood.
"Shut up." He said impatiently. "I've already killed him."
"Ah..." Aya was relieved to see the person who had been knocked down lying there motionless. Ah, so it was a vampire hunter... "Thank you!"
"Hiss..." This person seems to be injured. He leaned to the side in pain, and although the moonlight was dim, Aya could still sense that he was in great pain.
Without hesitation, she grabbed some bandages and ran over. The vampire hunter seemed somewhat surprised that Aya was offering to bandage him.
"You're a vampire hunter, right? Thank you for saving me. Let me bandage you up."
"Sorry, I'm a vampire." He said coldly.
"Huh?" Aya was so startled that she dropped the bandage in her hand. In the dim candlelight and moonlight, Aya saw a vampire up close for the first time.
A fierce gaze, like that of someone staring at prey; a cold tone; and a beauty that draws you in.
"Ah!! Vampire, get out of here!!!" Aya took out her precious garlic and crucifix and started shoving it at him.
"...It's useless, save your breath."
