Bandung and Its Short Story

02

Bandung is a fun place to be at night, especially on Saturday nights. Lots of young people are spending time with their partners.

This time, Ara and Haidar would be cruising around town on Haidar's white and blue Beat motorcycle to enjoy their Saturday night. They would occasionally stop to buy something to eat.

"Ah, Ara, my dear," said Ara.

"can."

"Ah, Ara wants a kebab."

"can."

"A, eating grilled corn seems delicious."

"Okay, let's go."

Now it was Haidar's turn to ask. "Ra, do you want to eat some more? Let's eat some rice so you'll be full," Haidar said, raising his voice slightly.

"Huh?! Don't go home yet, it's still late." Ara answered in a higher tone.

"Hahah, I have a habit of being deaf when I'm riding a motorbike. Wait a minute, I'll pull over." Haidar started to turn his motorbike to the left. "I'm asking, do you want to eat again?" Haidar asked.

"Ooh..." Ara scratched the back of her neck. "No, I'm full. I've already eaten kebab, cilor, and grilled corn. Let's find a shop that sells drinks and chat there, so we can act like we're dating." Ara replied with a laugh.

"Huh? So, weren't you going around town just now as a date?"

"No, just chilling." said Ara.
