Not my style

Kris

BaeHyo ran away, he always left me in the middle of our encounters... Other times I didn't care, but since it was this guy it put me in a bad mood, his mere presence bothered me.

I didn't know if it was because his element was fire, like mine. Very few people had fire as their element; in fact, I thought I was the only one in this century to have fire as my element, and to find him so ignorant of what he possessed. It simply annoyed me.

What bothered me most was that BaeHyo, my childhood crush, was so focused on this guy. It made my blood boil just thinking that this guy had cast a spell on her.

I had come into her life first, and my heart ached knowing that this guy had unknowingly charmed her in a dive bar. What hurt even more was seeing the red thread connecting their pinkies. The worst gift of a Phoenix, their eyes of destiny.

My mother used to say that my soulmate would appear before my eyes as the most radiant person, and BaekHyo, his aura, certainly shone brightly.

-You're not my type

-Sorry?

-I told you that you're not my style.

-I am everyone's style, even if you find it hard to believe.

-Well, well, very self-assured, I see, Park.

-I can't say the same about your case, Kris-

"Look, Park, I'm not here to be your friend. BaeHyo knows I'm the best person to guide you to joining our association. Be grateful I'm even helping you; it's only because she asked me to."

"I'm not interested, thank you very much, but monsters aren't really my thing. If you'll excuse me, my family is waiting for me. Taxi!"

It seems this is going to be harder than I thought... It's definitely not my style. The horde of monsters surrounding the guy is astounding. Luckily, I put on my camouflage before meeting BaeHyo; otherwise, I would have had to fight for a long time, and I have to get back to China to meet the Kim cousin.
