I'll tell you a story. Many years ago, around 15 years or more, I arrived at YG Entertainment looking for an opportunity to become a great singer. The first thing I did was introduce myself to the trainees I would be working with, and their first reaction was surprise, followed by a very strange frown. Shortly after, I discovered that, based on my appearance, they expected me to have an excellent voice.
The months and years passed, soon we were ready to debut. During those days it was very strange how I got along with everyone. I was afraid of Ji Yong, I joked around too much with TOP, I talked a lot with Bae and with Seungri... Well, the first few years were quite awkward, but little by little we became closer.
Certain situations happened, like being called ugly, that we weren't anything special, living in a horrible place and eating little so as not to waste money, living together as a group of 5 and our friendship improved monumentally, as did our success, we had hit songs and won awards, everything was going wonderfully.
