Jungkook ran to the car to get some towels and blankets to wrap her in. Suga is outside, checking in on Jin while the rest just stood there. Dumbfounded. 

"What kind of heartless creep would do this?" asked V, tearing up a bit. "She looks so young and vulnerable."

"We can't take her back," said Jimin. "She's a mundane."

"Yeah, a beaten up, bruised and broken mundane. We can't leave her here," said Jungkook, covering her body with the towel and blanket. "Jimin, I know you just want to protect the pack we've worked so hard to build. But we built that pack for people like her. Bruised. Broken. And people who deserve a second chance. Something that other packs wasn't willing to give them. But moreover, a home. A place to belong and a place to fight for. We're not leaving her here. Right Alpha?" Jungkook looks at me with those big innocent eyes, full of empathy and kindness for a creature he doesn't even know.

I take a deep sigh. This kid is too good to exist in this cruel world.

"Aight boys. J-Hope, Suga and V, look for anything you can find that might help us I.D this girl. Jimin, sanitize this place. Jin, take a breather. Jungkook and I will carry her back to the car. We're leaving in 10. Oh, and this time, V will swap seats with J-Hope. Heaven knows I don't wanna hear anymore of that bickering. Any questions?"
Jimin raises his hand.
"Yes Jimin, she's coming with us," I said almost immediately. I don't need to read his mind to know what he wanted to ask.
"Anyone else? No? Good. Let's move."

Back at the house, Becky and Gina, our house maids, cleaned the mundane and helped the doctor check her up.

"She's lucky you found her. Any later then that, she wouldn't have made it. Also, tell me, why didn't any of you think of checking her pulse?" asked Doctor John.

"Oh I don't know. Maybe because we were freaking out!" replied V, half shouting. 

"Easy there V. No need to raise your voice," said Suga calmly. "The situation was new to us doc. Never have we ever came across a punk that, not only refused to pay his debts, but also gave a mundane in exchange. But you're right. Standard protocol, we should have checked her pulse. I guess we've gotten too cozy after the war that we have let our training aside. I guess it's time to get back at it."

"That's a good idea. Alpha, please see to it that training starts again. In the meantime, I'll take her blood samples back to the lab to see if the fayes can find anything. I've healed her bones but she's a mundane so I've advised Becky and Gina to give her this medicine every six hours. It's just to relieve the pain that she might still feel. She should wake up by sun down tomorrow. She may start vomiting, that's expected but feed her Lavender seed soup only for the next three days. She should be up and running after that. If anything, let me know. Oh, and Alpha, thank you. For bringing her here. You may have just saved another soul from the pits of hell." Doc stands up to leave and shakes my hand.

"Don't thank me doc. This one is on Jungkook."
"Ah, of course. The innocent one. I'll see you around boys." 

Jimin walks doc out while the rest of us gather at the dining hall. Becky and Gina have returned to their chores. Yes, we only have two maids because there's not much to do here. We do our own cooking, cleaning and laundry. But Becky and Gina come in from time to time just to touch up things and restock the food.When Jimin returns, everyone takes their seats.

"So, what's your call Alpha?" asked Jungkook
"Suga, did u find anything while looking around the warehouse?" I asked.
"Yeah, but we were debating whether it's her name or what. All we found was a necklace she was holding onto. It had 'Army' printed on it with diamond studs."
"You mean Amy?" asked Jin 
"No, I mean Army," said Suga.
"Wait, Army? As in soldiers, Army?" asked Jin
"Yeah, that's why we got confused as to whether it's her name or maybe her clan or something. After this, we're taking it to the basement and see if we can extract anything from it that may lead us to where she's from."

 "Hmm ok. For now, I want everyone on high alert. Jimin and Suga, check out all our gates and take a few men to patrol the pack. See if our soldiers are well and healthy. I want reports on their training and the reports on the new recruits. Jin, J-Hope and V, check our supplies and see if every home has enough to last through the month. I want reports from each sector. Check the schools and hospitals too. Becky told me yesterday that they have discharged the last patient early yesterday morning so I want you to check all medical records and records on the medicine used and medicine that hasn't been used. Hurricane season starts next week so we gotta stock up. Jungkook and I will go check out that necklace and see if we can find something. Today is Monday so I want all reports on my desk by Friday morning. We'll review it together and I will give the feedback on Satuday evening during the Pack Meet. Other than that, training, as doc says starts tomorrow. You all know when and where. Jimin, don't pout. I can't do anything. Those are doc's orders. Any questions?"

Jungkook slowly raises his hand.
"Uhm hyung, can we eat first?"
J-Hope bursts out laughing with the rest of us smiling.
"Yes, we'll eat first. Becky and Gina made us lunch while we were out so let's go," I said, standing up and making my way out. The rest follow. 

"Last one to the the kitchen, washes the dishes!" yells V, and we all started racing.
