Desperately in Love

Running.
Through the forest, past the lake and down the hill. Wait, why am I running? Who am I running to? I don't know. Yet. But I have to get there. All of a sudden, I catch a scent and I stop. What is that smell? It smells so sweet and pure. Almost innocent. It's so addictive. I find myself chasing that scent. I didn't realize the person in front of me, bumped into them and toppled over. Her.

"Rise and shine Alpha. We got work to do and those debtors ain't paying us shit until we knock some sense into them. Literally. And when I say we, I mean you. So, get up!"

"Suga, need I remind you whose Alpha?" I angrily replied.
He has drawn the silk black curtains back so the sunlight streams in uninvited. I cover my eyes with the back of my hand and glare at him.

"Well, if you hadn't overworked yourself last night, we wouldn't be here. Get dressed. Jimin is making breakfast, Jin and V are getting the cars ready. We'll eat on the way since someone overslept. Again. Wheels up in 30," and with that, he left the room.

Dammit. I wanted to argue but I know he's right.

We make our way through the city while J-Hope explained to me the situation down the East Coast. Apparently, some debtors refused to pay. Who the hell do they think they are?
Jimin had hands to the wheels, Jungkook on his left while J-Hope and I sat at the back. Meanwhile, Suga, V and Jin are in the car infront of us. Even with the windows up, I could still hear them bickering. These idiots can't grow up.

Passing through the city, we take all the back roads to reach East Coast because traffic sucks and I can't stand watching mundanes. Petty, I know, but it is what it is. We stopped at an abandoned warehouse and wait in the car for Suga's team to secure the perimeter. For what seemed like an eternity, Suga approached the car signaling that everything looks fine. We got out and head in.

We are all wearing black, our signature colour, from head to toe. Guns at hand and knives in our leg pocket, just like training.

"There's no one here and we also caught no scent," said V coming up behind me.

Hmmm, that's odd.

Just then, Suga called us over to take a look at an open box behind the warehouse that was about 40 square meters. The others gasped when they looked inside.

It was a girl.

A mundane girl.

Tied up, wearing only her underwear. Her hair covered her breasts and she looked like she has been beaten up. Really bad. Her stench caused Jin to throw up. She smells like piss. No wonder the boys couldn't catch a scent.

Beside her was a note:
She's healthy and bears no illness. She's              obedient and doesn't retaliate. Consider this a payment to the money I owe you.

Bloodyshit.
