PROLOGUE

I thought I had met the perfect man. The moment I saw him, I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life by his side... He had such a deep and beautiful gaze that it made me feel like I was in heaven, just by looking at him for a couple of seconds... I thought he loved me... But now I know that wasn't love, because love doesn't hurt, it doesn't wound, and it certainly doesn't make you feel worthless...

But nobody is what they seem, I know that now. If only he had loved me as much as I loved him, everything would have been very different...

My name is Lee Jisoo, and I thought I had found my perfect man, and I did, but he wasn't who I thought he was.
