The sound of the alarm woke me up as usual. I took a shower to wake up, got dressed, and had breakfast before heading out to work. But that day was different for some strange reason. I was very happy; I had the biggest smile that could exist. I simply couldn't wait for the afternoon to arrive so I could see Tae again.
(...)
"Good morning, Cassie," he smiled.
-Good morning, Jisoo.
I arrived at my office and got ready to do my job as usual, starting by checking the advertising campaigns of the companies we handled...
Later I received his call.
Call
--Tae🐯--
Hi Jisoo, I'm just calling
to confirm the time.
Hi, how about 7?
So that I have time,
I'm just leaving work
at 6:30
Can I pick you up?
If you like
That seems fine to me,
The address is _____.
Okay, I'll see you then.
6:30 outside your
job.
Sure, goodbye.
End of call
"Is it a boy?" I hear from the doorway.
I jumped slightly in my chair. "Sir," I said, placing my hand on my chest, "you scared me."
-Jin, my name is Jin.
-Sorry, Jin, you scared me.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to, I just came to check a few things. But I heard you talking on the phone. Is that your boyfriend?" She sits down in the chair across from my desk and looks at me with a smile.
"What? No, no, no, we're just friends," she smiled nervously.
"But will you two be dating soon?" she smiles and points at me with her pen.
-Tell me, what's going on?
"Of course. Don't tell the boss anything," he laughs.
And so my day passed, full of work, going from one place to another, and I was just waiting for 6:30 to arrive so I could leave for that door and see Tae...

At dismissal time, I started packing my things to leave. I grabbed my coat and headed for the door. There were about 10 minutes left until my dismissal time, so I didn't keep Tae waiting long.
On my way out, I ran into Jin, who decided to walk me home since his car was parked outside. We left together and were chatting. He was really nice. He opened the door for me, and as soon as I stepped outside, I saw him. He was leaning against a dark red car, wearing brown jeans, a white shirt, a black jacket, and a black cap. All I could think was how handsome he looked.
He smiled when he saw me, but immediately stopped. His face turned serious, I could even say intimidating; I didn't know what he had seen to make him react that way.
"Did I dress badly? Did I make him wait too long? No, no, I left way earlier. What happened?" I thought foolishly...
I immediately said goodbye to Jin and headed towards him.
"Hello Tae?" she smiled.
"Hello," she says, looking at me intently.
¿What's wrong with him? Did I do something wrong? And here begins my first mistake, wondering if I did something wrong...
"Are you okay?" I asked him.
- Uh, yes - she glances behind me - Who is the man you went out with?
I turn around quickly and see Jin talking on his cell phone, looking away. "Oh, him, he's my boss. Why?" I turn back to him.
"No problem. Shall we go?" He gets out of the car and opens the door for me to get in.
I had no choice but to go upstairs and wonder, "What was wrong with him?" Had he gotten jealous of Jin? Impossible, from my perspective. He couldn't be jealous of me the day after meeting me, could he? Well, if I had seen him with another girl, I would have reacted the same way. Besides, if he's jealous, it's because he likes me, and if he likes me, that's good, right?
In short, I continued making mistakes; I should never have justified those small details, and I should have simply walked away.
During the walk, he was a little serious, and I couldn't stop thinking that maybe he liked me... And strangely, I felt happy...
