EXO is a 12-member South Korean boy group formed by SM Entertainment on April 8, 2012. Currently, they are active as a nine-member group consisting of Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun. EXO officially debuted in April 2012 with their first mini-album, *MAMA*. On June 3, 2013, they released their first full-length album, *XOXO*, which sold over 1 million copies and won all the grand prizes at various award ceremonies at the end of 2013. That same year, their single "Growl" was selected as the best K-Pop song of 2013 by Billboard. On May 7, 2014, they released the mini-album *Addicted*. In November of the same year, they won four awards at the 2014 MAMA Asian Music Awards, including Best Asian Artist of the Year, Best Male Group, and Best Album. On June 9, 2016, they released their third full-length album, *EX’ACT*. On December 2, 2016, they won the 2016 MAMA Album of the Year, Best Male Group, and Best Asian Style Award. In January 2018, they won the Album of the Year Award and the PGA Global Popularity Award at the 32nd Golden Disc Awards. On December 31, they performed at the MBC Gayo Daejejeon.
