On December 17, 2019, Vine Entertainment gave the debut teaser of their new female vocal group. Confirming that they have 100 days until their debut on March 26, 2020. However, on March 12, 2020, Vine Entertainment postponed the group's debut until the next date due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On April 29, the agency revealed the name of the new group as Secret Number and opened a group social media account. On May 6, it was revealed in a Naver article that the group would officially debut on May 19 with the single "Who Dis?".
They debuted officially on May 19th and held their debut showcase on the same day
