CHAPTER 17

Jin's P.O.V:

It has been a week now. Chaeyoung got discharged from the hospital 4 days ago......and she still doesn't remember me.....

The nurse said that the severe accident caused her a head injury and she might not remember some things.

Last week I went straight back to the campus after Chaeyoung woke up. I stayed in my dorm the whole week. I didn't even attend any classes. 

Instead I would sit on my bed and stare at her picture all day.

My mind is still processing my sudden feelings for her......

WOULD she ever feel the same for me? After James? And what about Yeonjun? I almost forgot....

I muffle a scream in my pillow. Why is everything so COMPLICATED?!

Then there's a soft knock on my door. I rub my eyes and get up, expecting it to be a friend. I open the door and-

Jeon Chaeyoung is standing there.

I rub my eyes to make sure that it really IS her.

"Hey, um...Jin, right? May I talk to you for a sec?" she asks nervously.

"Uh...uh....yeah...sure," I say and gesture to her to come in. Oh god, MY ROOM IS SO MESSY!!!

I pull up a chair for her and she sits down after muttering polite 'thankyou'. I nod and sit on my bed.

"So...what did you want to talk to me about...?" I manage to ask.

She bites her lower lip. "Is, um...is everything okay?"

I blink. "What do you mean?"

"Well, uh....you haven't been attending your classes at all and um...you look as if.....uh..." she pauses.

"As if....?" I question.

"As if you haven't been getting any sleep at all," she says.

"......huh?!" I exclaim. 

"Go look in the mirror," she shrugs and I obey. I gasp. 

What the heck?!

Okay, yes, I haven't been getting any sleep....but I didn't think my handsome face would look like THIS! Geez.....

"So....what's up....?" she asks me.

I rub my face and sit back down. "Nothing...." I mutter.

"I'm.....really sorry...." she mumbles.

"For what?" 

"I guess....because I can't remember you....? Honestly, I don't even remember moving into Seoul.....I'm really sorry it hurt you....I didn't knew we were close friends...." 

"Hey," I say softly. "It's not your fault. I just hope that one day....you'll recover from your coma....and then.....I would apologize to you...."

She smiles and holds my hand making my heart beat like crazy. "I really mean it...I'm truly sorry if my words hurt you that day in the hospital." 

"N-no p-problem....!" I stutter. Aish, Jin! Stop stuttering!!

She nods shyly and removes her hand from mine. She is looking so cute~!

I mentally slap myself. Jin, STOB IT!!!!

She gets up. "Well...I hope to see you around, but right now I have to go meet someone."

I nod. "Okay."

She smiles and then leaves after ruffling my hair, making my heart explode a billion times.
