CHAPTER 21 - HOLD ME TIGHT

Chaeyoung's P.O.V:

I slowly open my eyes and let out a little groan. Me and Jin somehow fell asleep last night. I lift my head and I see Jin. He is staring at me. I turn red.

"What are you staring at?" I ask him and he jumps in surprise. "N-nothing....S-since when were you up?" He replies. "I just got up," I say. "Anyways....Merry Christmas!!!" I exclaim.

"Merry Christmas!" He grins. "Shall we go make breakfast?" He asks me and I nod and we go back downstairs where the others are already up.

Sun-hee winks at me and I glare at her. What the heck?!

After we have breakfast, we sit around the tree to open our gifts. I got a hoodie from Yeonjun, a book from Beomgyu, a lamp from Sun-hee and a diary from Jungkook. The last present is there which I suppose is from Jin. I open it.

It is so cute!!!!!! How did he know that I love plushies?

I grin at Jin and hug him. "Thankyou, Jin!" He smiles and says, "It's nothing."

This Christmas by far, is one of the best ones I have had. We had alot of fun. It was amazing.

But sadly now we are back at collage and our exams are near so we have to study 😔. But the great thing is that after our exams, there will be a prom! Amazing, right?

Me and Jin would study together since most of our subjects are same. Sometimes we would study in my dorm and sometimes in the library. It was nice to be studying with him. We would help each other alot.

Days flew by and finally, the hard days of exams are over! We can be free!

Prom is in a week. I don't who I will go with though....

Sun-hee already got her date and guess who asked her? It's Beomgyu! Sweeetttt!!!

Today Jin asked me if I could meet him at the park and I had said sure. I wonder why he's asking that though....

Me and Jin have a great bond now. We hangout everyday and to be honest......it's nice to spend time with him.

Do I like Jin...? I don't know.....HE probably doesn't like me....but even if he did....I don't know if I am ready to move on yet.....

Maybe I DO like him.....I don't know.....

Jin's P.O.V:

I'm a nervous wreck right now.

I have finally made up my mind to ask her to the prom.....and tell her my feelings for her. I won't force her, though, if she can't return the feeling. But I just want her to know....

I was waiting for her and a sometime later she arrived. "Hey! Sorry if I kept you waiting, I was doing some work," she says as she greets me.

"No, I-It's okay....I'm glad you came though..." I reply.

"Ofcourse," she smiles. "Well....is there any particular reason that you called me here?"

I don't know if I can do it. Should I do it? Will she be mad? Gosh, this is so complicated!

"Jin?" She says as I come back to my senses.

"Oh... sorry," I say and she laughs. "It's okay. Now what is it that you called me here for?"

"Well....uh.....umm.......I...uh...." I stutter. Jin, stop making a fool of yourself!

"Yes?" says Chaeyoung.

"Uh....I was wondering....i-if....you'd um....like to....uh...." I begin. "Go-to-prom-with-me" I say really fast.

"Sorry...what was that?" She asks in confusion.

I take a deep breath. "I was wondering if you would like to go to prom with me," I say and her eyes widen in shock. "I-I mean i-f you w-want to, ofcourse...." I say but I already know her answer.....

"Jin…um….I…" She begins
