It Might Be You (Season 2)

Back from Jeju after a week vacation made me feel better. I'm glad I wrote a couple of paragraphs for my segment while I'm in Jeju, I just need to finish it up. I normally don't have any problems writing most of my segment, because eventually the idea will come up but still there's one of the day that I was struggling. But I'm sure, it happened to everyone. 

"Eonni, you look great, back from your vacation. Something good happened?"

"It is Sodam ah. I got to meet my best friends, all of them. I was so surprised actually, one of them plan our reunion and that makes me so happy for I haven't met them for years."

"Waa... that's great. Spending time with our friends of course, something that we valued and looking forward. And I bet, it's more special to you after not meeting them for so long."

"It is. Just imagine, I haven't met them for years and suddenly or accidentally met them on my vacation, a double rewards for me, I guess."

My phone vibrates, indicate an incoming text. When I check my phone, it's a text from Jimin.

🐥Noona, I missed you. Are you busy? Can we meet up today, say around 6pm? There's something I want to talk about.

"Hey! My dongsaeng, Noona missed you too. No problem, we'll meet up around 6. Just text me the location later."

🐥Will do. Just to let you know, I'm bringing Taehyung and Jungkookie. Bye-bye for now, see you later.

"Okay, bye."

I have finished my work for today and so far, everything went smoothly according to my plan. I went to the toilet and freshen up as I know Jimin will text anytime soon. While tidying up my table and put my belongings inside my bag, my cellphone ring. It's Jungkook.

"Hello?"

🐰Hi Noona. It's Jungkook. Are you ready? We were at the road side, in front of your office. Can you come down now?

"Hi Kookie. I will be right away, give Noona 5 minutes. Bye"

🐰Okay.

I make sure, I didn't leave anything out. After saying goodbye to Sodam, I left the office. As soon as I come out from the main entrance, I spotted Tae's car by the road side, right in front of the main entrance. I run slowly toward them as Jimin open the door for me.

"How are you guys? Noona missed you."

I said, as I hug Jimin tightly.

"Guys, calm down. Noona's not going anywhere. I hug both of you later. But, where are we going actually?"

🐻We bringing you to one of the best Michelin star restaurant. I know the owner of the restaurant very well. 

"Oh wow! I'm excited. I rarely had the opportunity going to a fine dining restaurant. I guess, I don't have a life before I met you guys. My daily/-

🐥Oh stop it Noona. I know, you don't mean it. 

"Wait...are you sure this place is safe? You know..."

🐰Oh come on. You haven't move on from that incident? Please Noona, forget about it. Don't worry, the company have issued a notice saying that if anyone shared a wrong information about us, they'll be sued.

🐻And....after all, everyone knew who you were to us Noona, so chill out.

🐥Noona, don't you think Yoongi hyung will be disappointed if he knew, you haven't move on? Remember him being so mad and he yelled at me?I mean he's like out of his mind, when he is mad.

"Guys....how I wish I could just go out with all of you without being afraid. I really tried to act like it's nothing but to be honest I still feel traumatised with what happened recently. But.....for now, let's just forget about it, as Tae's say chill out."

🐥Aah, noona. Don't worry, whatever happens after this, we'll be by your side okay? Always...

"Thank you Jiminie. Noona loves all of you."

Half an hour later, we arrived at the restaurant that Tae's mentioned earlier. I'm glad the place was super cosy, peaceful and I love the privacy. 

🐻Hi Harin. I've made reservation earlier. I believe you have my table ready?

🤵🏽‍♀️Hello Mr V-ssi, welcome again. Yes, we have your reservation and it's ready. Come, let's me show your table. Come with me please.

🐻Thank you Harin. Come on guys.

🤵🏽‍♀️Please be seated. Here's the menu, take your time and I will be attended to you shortly. 

🐻Thank you so much Harin, I really appreciate it.

"Wow, I love the environment here and the privacy too. I can't wait to check on the menu. So, Taehyungie how did you manage to find out about this place? As you said earlier, you know the owner very well. Come on spill the tea."

🐻 Patient noona. I will introduce you later. Now, let's check on the menu. I haven't tried their new dish, a mouth-watering mixture of Korean and English cuisine.

🐰I can't choose one, everything is so tempting...haish.

"May I suggest something? We can choose 2 dishes from the menu, each one of us and we'll share? We will be able to try all the food then. Don't worry, it's on me." 

🐥Love the idea noona...okay, let's do that. But no, we're paying. And actually, we want to talk about something important.

"You scared me, Jiminie. What is it?"

Harin come a few minutes later and took our orders.

🐥Okay noona, while waiting for our foods, hear me out. What month is next month? 

"What?!! Are you kidding me? What are you trying to do, Park Jimin?"

🐻 Answer him noona.

"Okay, chill. It's March. Why?"

🐰So noona, is there anything on your mind when March comes?

"How should I know. You guys will be having a surprise come back? Wait Kookie....you will be releasing a solo album? Or you TaeTae? Jiminie? I have no idea."

🐥Wrong answer. Try harder noona. Come on.

🐰Oh my... someone will be very disappointed.

"Jungkookie please. What is it? I'm confused."

"Guys, don't ever tell your hyung about this okay?Noona will do anything for you...mmmhhh? How on earth, I forgot about it."

🐥So we're thinking of having a surprise party for Yoongi hyung. I mean, it's not really a surprise because he should have expected it. But At least this year, we had noona to plan this event with us."

"Oh...so sweet. So what do you guys have in mind? Where do you plan to do it?"

🐰Usually, we booked a restaurant. I have no idea, where we should do it this year. We have to do something different."

🐻You are correct Jungkookie. It have to be a bit special this time.

🧑‍🍳My staff said, you were coming with your friends. 

🐻Yes. I bring along our noona this time. Oh sorry...guys, met Chef Raymon Kim. Hyung, I'm sure you know this two rascals, Jimin and Jungkook. This beautiful lady right here is Ms Lee Yoori, she's the senior editor of X magazine."

We bowed and handshake with the Chef.

And I'm so glad you come today Taehyung ah, there's a new dessert on the menu that we launched a few days ago, I'll ask my staff to bring it to your table later, it's on the house. I insist.

🐻Ahhh hyung-nim, you don't have to. But if you insist, it's our pleasure. Thank you so much. By the way hyung, do you have any recommendation on a restaurants with private dining room, let's say, it could accommodate maybe 30 people?

🧑‍🍳Let's see....you can try "MINGLES". It's in Gangnam. The owner is my good friend. Wait, I'll give you his contact number. You can call him and mention my name. Recently, MINGLES been awarded to 3 Michelin star restaurant. The owner is Chef Kang Mingoo, and this is his contact number.

🐻Oh wow! We should try it out. Okay hyung-nim, thank you for the recommendation. I will call the owner later.

A few minutes later, our food arrive and we definitely enjoy the food and our time together. We talked about how we're going to celebrate Yoongi's birthday next month. We also agreed that we will divide the expenses between the four of us but if Jin Oppa, Hobi and Namjoon would like to join, it will be much better. Taehyung will be incharge of checking the restaurant, Jimin and Jungkook will be incharge on the menu and I will be incharge on contacting our friends and their parents. I'll suggest that we should invite all the Bangtan parents this time, and the Maknae agree with me.

"Okay guys, we have about 2 weeks to get ready for this event. Remember, this is a surprise party, please be careful, do not reveal anything, Especially Namjoon. You guys have to always remind him. Oh, Jiminie maybe you can create a temporary GC for us, without Yoongi, so we can update each other."
