Please Accept My Heart!

Ep. 03

Their first meeting was more ordinary than expected.
Their story began a year ago when Yeojoo transferred into Beomgyu’s class.

Yeojoo was cheerful, bright, and full of positive energy—someone loved by everyone, and generous enough to return that love. Within just a few days of transferring, she had become the center of attention and affection in the class.

“Hi!”

“Yeah, hey. You're Yeojoo, right?”

“You knew my name?”

“You’re kind of a celebrity. Hard not to know.”

She was really fun. He answered every one of her questions, but never in the way Yeojoo expected. Looking forward to what would surely be a more interesting school life, she glanced at the name tag on his cardigan.

“Choi Beomgyu… You don’t seem average either.”

She’d heard his name countless times while hanging out with her classmates, but she’d thought she had no connection to this “Choi Beomgyu” person—only to realize, to her surprise, that he was actually her classmate.

“I don’t think I’ve done anything to become famous...”

“Well, you’re good-looking. With that face, all the fuss makes sense now. Totally my type.”

It had already been a week since Kim Yeojoo transferred. Just when she thought she’d talked to most of the classmates, Choi Beomgyu caught her eye. Just as expected from the class ringleader = Kim Yeojoo equation, she immediately approached him.

To be honest, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say she was drawn to him as if hypnotized by his noticeably handsome face from afar. On the other hand, for Choi Beomgyu—who had only ever seen Kim Yeojoo as just another classmate—that day marked the beginning of when he started to dislike her.
