Pretend to be nice [★★★☆☆]

W.Li Tie

At some point, the world became aware of Byul and Wheein's feud. For several days, trumpets began blaring, loud explosions rang out, and other things began to unsettle the people. It seemed to have calmed down for a while, but Wheein's spies infiltrated Byul's organization, sparking a renewed battle of fire and ice. Byul resolved to seek out Wheein and put an end to the situation.

“What on earth do you want?”

“You die quietly.”

“Do you think I’ll listen to you honestly?”

“Yeah, I knew it, seeing you being so foolish and fond of humans.”

“What difference does it make if you do this to me?”

“Why? Are you scared now? I was wondering why the world-famous Moonbyul didn’t come out.”

"I thought this organization would be finished when I died, but there are many who will succeed me. You know that?"

“Then, would you please die now?”

“Aren’t you having a hard time? Trying to deal with everyone on your own.”

“Don’t try to lecture me. I’ll kill you.”

“Nothing will change just because we do this.”

“I need you to die. Only then will this world become peaceful.”

"Pathetic. It can't be easy to kill someone for mere honor, right?"

“You’re even more pathetic. You uncivilized bug, Moonbyul, who lives in a selfish society, changing your appearance every day.”

“What? People are anxious.”

"Why did you become the boss of a gang? If you're going to defend people like that, why did you become the boss? Do you think people treat us well because they like us? We should be the ones who should be bowing down and apologizing. If you want to gain fame instead of pontificating and telling people that gangs aren't bad, kill people. Don't involve yourself in a useless gang. It's fucking filthy."

“Ha, I told you nothing would change if we fought?”

“Star, you’ve grown up well, so it’s easy, right?”

“...”

"You seem to think you're greater than me, but that's a grave mistake. Besides, there can be no king in this world. Ah—. But if you were willing to die here, things would be different, right?"

“Really until the very end..”

“Where did Moonbyul, who used to listen to me so well, go?”

“Ugh... Seriously, stop it. Before I kill you.”

“Will your big nose get hurt?”

Wheein held the gun close to Byul's neck. Byul swallowed dryly and trembled. Wheein gave a bitter laugh, stroked Byul's head, and kissed her forehead.

“From now on, it’s not you, it’s me.”

Wheein aimed her gun at Byul's head. Byul sat down with a thud, almost as if she were falling, and looked at Wheein with a wicked gaze. Holding a sharp knife, Byul lunged at Wheein's abdomen.
Wheein looked flustered, but after dodging Byul lightly, she looked into Byul's eyes and smiled evilly.

“What, is that all there is to it?”

“...You’re finished.”

“You still don’t know who the real king is?”

“I won’t bow down to the likes of you..”

“You were so easy because I treated you well? Is it because you wanted to see me being cruel after all this time?”

Byul summoned her hidden talisman, and Wheein lightly flipped it over, changing her target. She looked at Byul's talisman, Yongseon, and smiled cruelly. Wheein stroked Yongseon's face, fiddling with the sword beside her.

“I won’t make it painful, just bear with it.”

Wheein boldly plunged her sword into Yongseon's neck. Seeing the crimson blood pooling and flowing made her feel good.

“You want to end up like this too, right?”

“If you do what you want, is this world safe?”

“I wouldn’t touch a human, would I?”

“I can’t believe it, I’ll kill you with my own hands.”

Byul aimed a gun at Wheein's heart and tried to pull the trigger, but it was still a win-win situation.

“Let’s start the game of wit.”
