Do Kyungsoo, who had “always held the hope to act from a young age”, finally fulfilled a dream last year. With the unique colors he shows with Cart and the drama It’s Okay, It’s Love, it is as an actor, and not EXO’s D.O., that Do Kyungsoo makes his name known. Another point he finds enjoyable about acting is that “as a singer, you have to be as charming as possible in four minutes. I think that’s one regretful point that acting makes up for.” Nowadays, he seeks out movies on his own. His most recent watch was “10 Minutes” (directed by Lee Yongseung). “I feel many things I hadn’t now after watching movies. Like Cart, this movie was about a precarious worker too. I’d really like to try being a lead character someday.” Drawn by darker realities, it begs the question of what face will he put on next. What kind of piece, what kind of role, doesn’t seem to matter to Do Kyungsoo. If acting is, as he says, “really, really interesting,” then he can find a new world in it.
