The bird in this book represents a desire for freedom, for independence. Symbolically, since the bird appears in Sinclair's childhood home, it shows that this longing has been with Sinclair from the beginning.

Jungkook was seen holding the same letter and even put it in an envelope. This tells us that the letter Namjoon (Pistorius) received is from JK. Namjoon is getting a tattoo because when Sinclair turned himself in (to the police), he left Pistorius alone and heartbroken.

In the RUN MV, Namjoon is seen next to a booth, and he is seen next to it during the 'reflection' scene. This really shows that he knows (or still hopes) that Tae will contact him at any moment and that he is ready to help him.
Unfortunately, when Tae finally calls Namjoon for help, Namjoon won't be able to answer the phone because he's just been drinking and won't be able to control himself, to the point of imagining that the phone booth is locked by chains.
This is when Tae and Joons' relationship ends. Namjoon no longer has any role in Tae's life. Tae was Namjoon's reflection, but not anymore (which actually explains why the glass broke during the REFLECTION).
