The Pink Moon 01

Selene P.O.V.
He was always the talk of town, people know him based on the rumor they hear, they easily judge him. But me? I didn’t, I know he’s the bright moon that’s been hidden by a clouds.
“Mr. Moon!”
My eyes we’re following Mr. Go and Moon Junhui as he chased him.
“That’s too early tho.” I whispered to myself before I enter my classroom.
All of my classmates were laughing and some are just shaking their heads out of disappointments.
I guess Moon Junhui did something again for Mr. Go to chase him.
“Hey, Selene! Thank god you’re already here.” Mina said while fixing the curl on her hair.
She’s sitting on her chair, second seat in the middle aisle and in front of mine.
“Yeah, what’s happening?” I asked. She just shrugged on me.
This is the normal day in our classroom but I wonder why I still get shock everytime Moon Junhui will do something.
Maybe because that’s not how I met and get to know him. His usually a very behave kind of student before but no one knows what happened.
He even got kicked out from the star section that’s why he’s in our classroom.
Rumors said, even his friends didn’t know why he changed.
I gently put my bag on my desk and sat on my chair. If I’m not wrong, we have a quiz later on chemistry so I’m going to study.
“Hi, selene!”
I was taken aback when someone put rose on top my book. It was a red rose.
“Hehe..” I awkwardly laugh and get the rose before closing my book.
I looked at Peter and his friends. Peter is my friend or before? He is persuing me since the start of last semester.
I still treat him as my friend and I don’t want to hurt him but he knew that I’m not interested and all I can give him is friendship.
“Peter..”
I looked at Mina when she faced me. I badly need a help.
She arched her right brow like saying she got it and she’ll take care of peter for me.
“Peter! You’re here again! I just saw you ten minutes ago, before Selene came.” Mina said loudly. I smiled more awkwardly because of that.
Some of our classmates looked at us after hearing what Mina said. They’re all aware about Peters doing, they’re all used to it but I’m not.
Peter is the son of my Mothers friend. We became friends when my Mom and her Mom decided to have a trip together.
He’s kind and generous but that changed when we reached middle school. He became possessive and I told that to my Mom.
She said it’s not normal and I should just avoid him and that’s when he confessed his feelings to me and started giving me roses everyday.
“I’m not talking to you, Mina.”
He said that while looking at me. It’s making me really uncomfortable.
“Hey, Peter! Leave Selene alone or I’ll report this to your homeroom teacher.”
If Jeonghan was here beside me, I will hug him for sure because of what he said.
He saved me and my day. I should thank him later.
Peter angrily looked at him before storming out of our classroom with his friends.
I was looking at the door where Peter left. I hope he won’t comeback again tomorrow.
I wonder why he changed. I sighed and look at the board.
He’s at the star section, he’ll be kick out if Jeonghan will report him.
Oh, Jeonghan!
I turn my gaze to Jeonghan and surprisingly he’s also looking at me.
I mouthed, ‘thank you’ and smiled at him. He returned the smile and simply nodded.
Then someone came inside. They all became silent and was just watching him.
There were two doors in our classroom, one on the back where Peter used and on the front where Jeonghan is.
It was Jun, he’s soaking with sweat maybe from running. He looked in my eye and smirk.
I was just watching him get his stuff and bag before leaving. Did I just smiled at Moon Junhui?
I am really out of my mind. Why did I smile on him? He told me not to.
Both of my palms are in my face right now, I screwed up.
