The year is 1945. WWII just ended. North Korea and South Korea had just split into their own respective countries. However, during the war, many children had become orphans. A small house in Damyang, houses 7 of these orphans, and a single care giver, Kim Miyuk.

Things are just starting to look normal for them. The orphanage slowly becoming a new home, and Miyuk was slowly becoming a motherly figure that they could trust and rely on. However, Heesung gets sick and she is forced to leave for a few nights to get him medacine. During their time of vulnerability, a vampire just so happens to stumble upon their home, and it just so happens, that he’s hungry.
