Seoyeon had been feeling noticeably tired lately. Classes were intense, and with part-time work, studying abroad was even more challenging than she'd expected.

 

But even on days like that, Felix was still energetic. Sometimes that energy was burdensome, and sometimes... I was grateful.

 

"Seoyeon, what do you want to eat for dinner tonight? Should I cook?"

"No, I just want to eat ramen. I'm tired..."

In the end, Seoyeon cooked the ramen. Felix offered to crack an egg for her, but then he spilled the egg white and made a fuss.

Felix asked seriously as he sat at the table eating ramen.

 

“Were you this busy when you were in Korea?”

That night, Seoyeon was organizing clothes in the laundry room when she found Felix's shirt. A white, thin summer shirt.

 

Strangely, the shirt smelled like Felix. It had that fresh, soapy scent and that distinctive warmth.

At that moment, Felix opened the door and came in.

 

"Seoyeon, did you see my shirt...?"

Seoyeon, embarrassed, tucked her shirt behind her back. "Oh, no. I was just organizing."

 

Felix approached with a smile."Are you embarrassed? Did you smell my shirt?"

 

 

"No way?! This is ridiculous. Take this!"

 

Seoyeon's ears were red as she turned around, throwing the shirt away.

 

Felix smiled slightly at that. "Then... can I smell your shirt too?"

 

"Get out now, Felix!!"

The laundry room door slammed shut, and the air inside hung there for a long time.

And that night, Seoyeon, who was about to turn off the bedside lamp, muttered quietly.

 

"...That shirt smelled not bad."

 

She decided not to deny this feeling. Even if she pretended not to know, she couldn't hide the growing feeling in her heart.
