A fairy's hope
Chapter 7

The fairies were very busy on planet Earth; each one had several charges and felt great joy with them.

Some lightning bolts even passed by without seeing their sisters. They only crossed the threshold to ask the matriarch for advice.

Certain decisions were complicated because humans had some feelings that were difficult to understand.

Watching over the fairies was the most important thing for the matriarch.

I couldn't let anything bad happen to them while they were fulfilling the wishes of humans.

Even so, minor accidents did occur.

"Cats are more mischievous than fauns," complained a fairy as she rested in Bhell Caeruleum. "And they fight with the strength of a dragon."

Lia
"I didn't think there was such a dangerous species on Earth," she said, a little scared.

The young fairy enjoyed her sisters' stories; it was the only interesting thing that happened on the planet.

Taking care of the garden saddened her; time passed slowly when she was alone.

Fairies didn't bloom from flowers, and sometimes she thought she would be the last of her kind.

Winter visited her frequently; she couldn't let her sister lose hope.

Winter
"The roses will surprise us this season," she declared, watching the buds forming. "You do a great job here."

Lia
"It's not enough," she sighed. "The portal opened twenty lightning bolts ago."

Winter
"Our mother's magic has grown, they will be born at any moment," she said, very convinced.

Lia
"It's strange that she has the power to watch over everyone and yet she can't create new fairies," she said, lowering her voice.

Lia
"It's as if something is preventing its birth"

Winter
"If you think that's the problem..." she glanced discreetly at the distant star. "I'll talk to our mother."

Winter
"Perhaps someone harbors resentment towards the fairies for what happened in the war and is using their magic to try to destroy us."

Lia
"There is someone that evil!" she exclaimed in amazement; she hadn't thought such an idea was possible.

Winter
"Of course it exists, evil can appear even in the noblest heart," he shrugged.

Narradora
Elsewhere in the galaxy, the father of the fauns was holding an important meeting with the Order of the Sorcerers.

Narradora
Although each race had its own magic, nothing could replace the guardian fairies of Spiralis Arborea.

Narradora
They decided to explain their concerns to the matriarch; the presence of a fairy would be enough to restore their sense of security.

Matriarca
"I understand perfectly," he said kindly after listening to them across the ancient lake.

Matriarca
"The survivors of the Chaos front could be influenced again and cause conflicts."

Matriarca
"I will speak with my daughters and name one of them as guardian of the galaxy."

"Thank you for granting our request, ma'am," the oldest sorcerer of the Order said, bowing.

"We will provide every facility to make the fairy feel comfortable with the mission."
