A fairy's hope
Chapter 9

Winter had to be careful with the spell to awaken Cristal; she was worried about making a mistake and causing something irreparable.

The matriarch waited patiently; it was the first time one of her daughters had returned from the frozen lands.

She knew that no one would remember her and it would be easy to give her a new story.

Winter
"I think that's it," he said when the ice had completely disappeared.

Matriarca
"Can you hear us?" he asked.

Winter
"She still seems asleep," he sighed. "I did my best."

Matriarca
"Don't worry," he said, approaching Cristal. "I can still try something."

The matriarch lightly clasped her hands together, a small golden light forming in the middle.

That power with which he covered the earth of the blooming garden makes countless sparks so that the fairies could be born for the first time.

He shot the flash towards Cristal's body and smiled as he watched her eyes open.

Winter
"It worked..." she held her breath.

Matriarca
"Do you know who I am?" she asked hopefully.

Cristal shook her head slightly while moving her hands with difficulty.

Winter
"We'll have to teach her everything again," he huffed. "Who will take care of her in the meantime?"

Cristal
"Win… te… r" her voice was heard as a whisper.

Matriarca
"Do you remember Winter?" He took her hand, noticing that it was freezing cold.

Winter
"That's not my job," she quickly interjected. "We need to tell Lia; she was prepared for this."

Matriarca
"That's what I was going to suggest," he smiled.

They took Cristal to Bell Caeruleum.

Then they looked for Lia.

The young woman had many questions about the mysterious fairy.

Matriarca
"It was created in secret because Spiralis Arborea needs a guardian to maintain the peace."

Lia
The news delighted Lia. "I'll gladly take care of her and teach her everything about magic."

When the first problem was solved, the matriarch contacted the representatives of each planet in the galaxy.

They listened attentively to the goddess; after the war, few had the privilege of seeing her.

Two fairies accompanied her; the younger kings and queens were amazed to see the wonderful race for the first time.

"We thought he would choose a long-lived guardian," said the dragon king, a little disappointed.

"Her oldest daughters have what it takes to protect us," declared the young Gorgon queen.

"The fairies of old have given more than they owed for our galaxy," intervened the old father of the fauns.

"The memory of the war lingers in them, that's why they decided to go with the humans; it's the only place where they can be at peace."

"A young fairy to guide the kings and queens," an angel spoke. "Perhaps it would be best if someone of my kind took charge."

"We accept the lady's decision," interrupted the mermaid queen.

"The war took our fairy from us; she was young and strong," explained the elf queen. "You must not question the chosen guardian."

"It's understandable that they doubt her power," said a sorcerer from the Order. "Many of those present are unfamiliar with fairy magic."

"I want to remind you that they have never failed us," said the Ent king in his deep voice.

Winter
"Ten cents," she declared, tired of the argument. "That's what we're offering, otherwise... you'll get nothing."

Everyone remained silent; the fairy's cold gaze pierced them like a dagger. They still struggled to accept her presence.

She wasn't charming like the one with pink wings.

The representatives spoke quietly with their companions, deciding whether they could receive the guardian in a flash.

Nhamtron
"This reminds me of the first Star Wars meeting," he sighed as he gazed through the magical fountain.

Nhamtron
"At that time they were arguing over who got to take the fairies, regardless of their age."

Narradora
"They wanted to welcome all the fairies to fight for them," I smiled bitterly.

Narradora
"And now they doubt the power of the only one who will agree to help them... if only they knew who she is."

Nhamtron
"The elf queen remembers her," he said thoughtfully. "How long will it take for the others to recognize her?"

Narradora
"There will be a huge uproar in the galaxy when they discover that Crystal survived," he said, crossing his arms.

Nhamtron
"They'll try to kill her again," she said, closing her eyes. "And the sorcerer who helped her."

Narradora
"It's too late, they can't change the future anymore," he looked out the large window.

Narradora
"The warriors have grown up and are safe; in a few sparks, Crystal will reunite them."

Nhamtron
"And then we'll tell them what to do with the galaxy," he smiled proudly.
