Second One-shot Story under Justin De Dios' POV

Justin

I hate my life.

Justin

I'm always running away like a criminal. But, I'm not one.

Justin

Unless, it's a sin to be Justin De Dios.

"It's Justin De God! Waaaaah!"

Justin

Not again.

Justin

I heaved a heavy sigh and walked fast while fixing my face mask.

Justin

Why do my fans have keen eyes? They can even recognize me with a disguise. Is it because I didn't wear a cap? But I find caps uncomfortable.

Justin

I heard running footsteps towards my direction. Right, I badly have to run now.

Justin

I can still hear their shrieks while I'm running and seeking for a place to hide. I really have to thank my genes for having long legs.

Justin

I was in the middle of running when someone grab my arms and covered my mouth.

Justin

I kept struggling but she's strong! Yes, I know she's a girl as she smells femininely and she's quite shorter than me.

A'TIN

"Hush, I'm hiding you away from them."

Justin

I recognized her voice. That's her again. The woman who's always helping me when my fans are chasing me.

Justin

I am always curious about who she but she never introduces herself and merely walks away after our escapade.

Justin

I saw how the fans ran away from our direction. I felt her grip loosened up.

Justin

I was about to turn around towards her but she pushed my face away from her. Then, I felt her put something on my head.

Justin

She put a cap on me. I don't know what's wrong with me, but I have no complaints with what she just did.

A'TIN

"Don't face me. I'm not wearing any mask."

Justin

Her statement even made me more eager to turn around as I want to know who she is.

Justin

"Why don't you want me to know who you are? You are always running away after helping me escape my fans."

Justin

I didn't hear her response. Instead, she pull my cap downwards that made my eyes covered.

Justin

Then, she eventually let me go. As I turned around, she was already on the run away from me.

Justin

No, you can't escape me. I can't let you go now!

Justin

I started chasing her but it seems that she already knew it, thus making her speed up her pace.

Justin

How can she run so fast? Is she an athlete? This girl is really extraordinary.

Justin

"Stop running away!"

Justin

We are still running towards nowhere.

Justin

"I want to thank you for always saving me!"

Justin

I have to say these words because God knows when will I be able to see her again.

Justin

"Thank you for respecting my privacy. I- I want to respect your privacy either, but ---I really want to know you more because..."

Justin

I really can't keep running. I'm running out of breath.

Justin

I stopped running and held my knees. She's still running.

Justin

I have to say this. No matter how exhausted I am.

Justin

I remove the cap that she gave to me and my mask and stood up straight.

Justin

I gathered all my remaining strength and shouted...

Justin

"I like you!" I screamed and felt my knees wobbled, until I eventually collapsed on the ground.

Justin

Damn, this is more exhausting than Teacher Hong's training.

Justin

I raised my head to see if she's still there.

Justin

But she's gone.

Justin

No! I let her escape again! Why did I let her go? Why didn't I put up with the tiredness?

Justin

Strangely, I felt my eyes teared up. I'm just frustrated to myself.

Justin

Until I couldn't hold my tears anymore. They started rolling down my cheeks.

Justin

Damn, this is so not me anymore. I'm crying because of a girl I don't even know.

Justin

I rubbed my eyes harshly out of annoyance and disappointment.

Justin

While staring at nowhere, I couldn't help but utter...

Justin

"And if this is the last time, I want you to know that...I love you." I said and lie to the ground with my eyes closed. I feel numb and tired.

Justin

Damn, I never knew that I'll be able to be reminded of our song during this situation.

A'TIN

"I love you too."

Justin

Wow. I'm even hallucinating now. I am hearing her even with my eyes closed.

A'TIN

"Don't you want to stand up? The ground is dirty. I love you but you look like a mess right now."

Justin

DAMN!

Justin

THIS IS NOT A HALLUCINATION.

Justin

With my eyes closed, I stood up and ran towards her. As soon as I felt her body clashed towards mine, I hugged her tightly.

Justin

I slowly open my eyes. I am alive.

Justin

"Finally, you stopped running."

A'TIN

"Your tears are my weakness. I won't dare to make you cry again, Justin."

Justin

I only responded by tightening my hug.

A'TIN

"Can you please wear an inconspicuous disguise next time? It's really getting exhausting saving you from your fans everytime."

Justin

I could only chuckle upon hearing her complaints.

Justin

I released her from the hug with a big smile. I couldn't help but admire her face.

Justin

"You are really a strange woman."

Justin

But I love her strangeness. And now, I began loving my life. Because she is now my life.
