We are so lucky that the first thing...

changbin pauses, looking up as he collects his thoughts as the crowd screams.

Changbin

—we are so lucky that the first things we do in Atlanta is performing in front of you guys!

the crowd of overjoyed stays screamed even louder, and changbin could feel his heart swelling.

he couldn't stop smiling as he looked around at the large crowd of people cheering for him and his members.

they had just finished another successful performance on their tour and this was the last show of the night.

the eight boys were smiling and waving at the crowd, each taking turns speaking to the stays before the show officially ended.

Changbin

Your reaction, cheers, is amazing. it's more than my expectation.

the screams seemed to somehow increase more as changbin spoke in English and nodded his head.

Changbin

You guys gave me a very precious time, and maybe i hope...uh...hope...hope...hope...

changbin paused and turned to his left, where felix was standing waving at stays.

hearing changbin's pause, felix walked closer to him and helped him.

felix smiled and stays continued to cheer and changbin looked flustered.

Felix

“I hope to come back.”

felix whispered into changbin's ear, wrapping his arm around the older's shoulder.

Changbin

Ah, i wanna come back, yeah!

the crowed seemed to grow louder as felix high-fived changbin and hugged him.

"changlix!" a few people in the crowd yelled.

hyunjin, who was near the group of people chanting, turned his head with a curious smile. when the two finally parted after a few minutes, the group stopped screaming "changlix" and hyunjin was silently greatful.

looking over at his boyfriend—who was across the stage from him—and held in a frown as he saw changbin and felix playing around together.

hyunjin pushed away the feeling in his stomach, and turned back around to the stays to ignore changbin and felix.

when the two finally parted after a few minutes, the group stopped screaming "changlix" and hyunjin was silently greatful.

Changbin

Thank you!

changbin yelled out at last, and the crowd screamed some more.

a few minutes later, and a last quick goodbye from chan, before the boys exited the stage together.

hyunjin had to keep himself from frowning as he saw changbin carrying felix off the stage on his back.

his thoughts immediately went back to what name the stays had been cheering earlier,

and he felt a sudden spark of curiosity about just what exactly they meant by it.

the boys left the arena shortly after, all packing onto their bus that would take them to their hotel.

they were all exhausted, but were all smiles as they gushed about how much fun the show was.

as they all got settled on the bus, hyunjin went to sit in the back corner, as the others followed behind him.

chan and jeongin sat together towards the front, watching all the videos from the concert,

while chan was on the phone with jyp talking about their plans for the next show.

minho and jisung sat towards the middle of the bus, ready to sleep,

with seungmin and felix sitting behind them.

changbin walked onto the bus last, looking around for hyunjin.

once he saw the taller stretched out in the back, he smiled and made his way to his boyfriend.

Changbin

Hey

changbin slipped into the seat besides a tired hyunjin, who simply responded with a soft hum.

after changbin was seated, hyunjin wasted no time snuggling up to changbin, lying his head on the older's shoulder.

the bus started as the two continued to stare at each other silently.

changbin leaned in slowly, his lips brushing against hyunjin's and ready to capture his boyfriend in a much needed kiss.

Jeongin

Oh, Changbin Hyung!

jeongin suddenly shouted, forcing changbin to snap his head forward towards the maknae who was seated at the front of the bus.

Jeongin

Where is changbin hyung?

Jeongin turned his head around to search for the older. changbin raised his hand to signal to the youngest where he was. changbin hummed.

Jeongin

changbinnie hyung, look! a lot of stays took videos of you talking at the show tonight. they are all over twitter and instagram.

Minho

Oh! Let's see.

jeongin handed the older the phone, as he and jisung watched the short clips and read the comments. minho laughed,

Minho

“Hope, hope, hope, hope...”

he teased changbin as the younger rolled his eyes with a smile and warm face.

hyunjin looked at the older and cooed at how adorable he looked flustered, yet again tonight.

Changbin

Aish!

changbin exclaimed as he leaned back in the seat.

he stretched his arm towards hyunjin who had leaned towards the window after lifting his head from changbin's shoulder.

changbin played with hyunjin's ear, just wanting to touch the younger and feel close to him.

minho handed changbin the phone to read the comments, as changbin started to softly pet the boys head comfortingly.

hyunjin closed his eyes with a smile, feeling content and ready to fall asleep at any moment.

after reading some of the comments from stays, changbin passed jeongin his phone back with a smile on his face.

he loved reading all the nice comments by their fans,

he definitely felt relieved that stay thought his english was cute even though he made a few mistakes.

Jeongin

Ah! Channie hyung, what is Changlix? i keep seeing that hashtag on twitter.

jeongin's voice carried through the bus, causing hyunjin to open his eyes as he too had been curious about the same thing earlier.

chan chuckled as he looked at the pictures tagged under the hashtag on his phone.

Chan

One...

Chan looked at felix who seemed to be holding in a laugh

Felix

It’s a ship.

felix couldn't hold in a laugh as jeongin looked confused. I.N repeated it in English.

Jeongin

A ship?

Felix

Like...a relationship, or i guess friendship. it's basically who Stay think are together within Stray kids.

IN nodded his head with his mouth formed in a 'o' shape. he thought about felix's words, still slightly confused as minho and jisung laughed

Jisung

Dating? Yongbok and Changbin? Poor Lix.

seungmin and minho both laughed. while felix simply blushed, and changbin rolled his eyes again and let out a chuckle. hyunjin stayed silent

he stared out of the window of the bus, not interested in the conversation.

i.n watched with a small frown on his face. he was still confused.

Jeongin

But Felix hyung and Changbin hyung aren't dating.

Felix and Chan both laughed out how cute Jeongin looked.

Felix

Well yeah, obviously, but for some reason Stay seem to think we are.

hyunjin continued to stay quiet. he was starting to grow annoyed with the topic of the conversation.

hyunjin wasn't sure what to say. he felt awkward talking about this,

especially because a part of him felt jealous hearing about how his boyfriend was 'shipped' with another member.

Jeongin

But why would they think that?

Changbin and Felix both shrugged.

Chan

Actually, it seems like there are a lot of reasons...youtube has a lot of 'changlix is real' videos.

chan couldn't help but laugh. he scrolled through his phone,

looking at how many compilation and analyzing videos there were,

and couldn't help but be amazed at how dedicated to these things stay were.

Jeongin

Woah

jeongin whispered as he looked at the hundreds of videos about changlix.

chan and jeongin—feelling curious—decided to watch some of the videos just for fun while they rode back to their hotel.

they laughed quietly at the clips and comments, loving the content just because it was by stays.

the other members quieted down, doing their own thing as they dropped the topic and the conversation died down.

changbin leaned back, and opened his phone after it chimed.

chan had sent him one of the changlix videos that he found especially funny,

titled 'changlix jealous moments--jealous changbin is hot'

changbin laughed, as he scrolled through the comments not bothering to watch the video.

hyunjin peaked his eyes open to glance at changbin's phone,

he felt his stomach twist in jealousy as he watched changbin read the comments about him and felix.

the rest of the car ride was silent--most of the members catching up on sleep since the ride to the hotel was pretty long.

when he boys arrived, they all tiredly left the bus to go to their respectful rooms.

before their trip, they had been assigned hotel roommates

because changbin and hyunjin were dating, they weren't really allowed to room together...jyp's rules of course

so they greeted each other good night with a short kiss and a hug before parting to head to their separate rooms.

hyunjin was sharing a room with seungmin, changbin with chan, jisung with felix, and minho with jeongin.

hyunjin entered his room, seeing seungmin lying on his back on one of the beds, staring at his phone.

Hyunjin

What're you doing Seungmo?

hyunjin sighed, flopping onto his bed. seungmin answered with a smile, not looking up from his phone.

Seungmin

watching all the videos stay posted.

hyunjin nodded not bothering to speak more and walked into the bathroom to prepare for bed.

when he was finished, he returned to the bed room to see seungmin still on his phone, laughing at a video.

Hyunjin

What are you laughing at?

seungmin sat up, pausing before answering. he wasnt sure how to answer hyunjin.

seungmin wasnt sure if hyunjin would care or not. he knew that he wasnt doing anything wrong—neither him, changbin nor felix—but

he still felt guilty. he knew if he were in hyunjin’s situation with jeongin, he would feel a certain way.

Seungmin

Um, just this funny video Channie hyung sent me earlier.

Seungmin felt bad for lying, but he wasnt sure if hyunjin needed to know the truth.

seungmin paused the video, placing his phone on the bed before exiting to the bathroom to get ready for bed as well.

hyunjin was curious as to why seungmin was being so vague, and decided to snoop around and see what video seungmin was watching.

hyunjin was feeling nosey, and assumed seungmin was probably just watching something he was embarrased about. hyunjin was curious.

but, when he looked at the screen his heart sank as he say it was a changlix video. he couldn't stop himself from pouting.

a part of him knew that he should just leave it alone,

but a bigger part of him wanted to see what was so interesting about the video that chan and seungmin were entertained by watching it.

he looked at the title of the video, before typing it in his own phone and leaving seungmin's where it was before and going to his own bed.

he clicked on the video, putting in his headphones as he frowned as the video played.

hyunjin watched the full video, his stomach knotting with envy after each second.

he hated watching the clips of his boyfriend and one of his best friends.

he knew that a lot of the clips were from before he and changbin were even official,

he couldn't help but feel anger towards felix as he watched another clip of skinship between changbin and the younger aussie.

with a huff, he paused the video and decided to make things worse by scrolling through the comments.

'you cannot tell me #changlix isn't real!' a comment said.

Hyunjin

Well it isn’t

hyunjin rolled his eyes with a scoff as he read more.

'get a man who looks at you the way felix looks at changbin'

'felix is so lucky!'

'changbin has such a soft spot for felix!!!'

hyunjin rolled his eyes again, and stopped when he noticed a comment that peeked his curiosity.

'there's no need for fan fictions when they act like this! could they be anymore obvious lol'

exiting youtube, hyunjin opened safari. he began to search for what a “fan fiction" was.

hyunjin scrolled through the search page until he found a definition he liked.

“fiction about characters or settings from an original work of fiction, created by fans of that work rather than by its creator.

usually it is written by children with the intelligence of a baby .

however there can be some very good out there that can be sometimes better than the original work."

still feeling curious, hyunjin typed into the search bar: “changlix fan fiction"

at least 10 different links popped up, and hyunjin's jaw dropped.

seungmin walked out of the bathroom to see hyunjin staring at his phone with a shocked expression on his face.

Seungmin

What?

Seungmin awaited hyunjin’s response as be climbed into his bed.

Hyunjin

Nothing...

Hyunjin continued to stare at his phone before clicked the first link and watched as he was redirected to a website called 'wattpad'.

he was not prepared for what he was about to read. he had no idea what he was getting himself into when clicking 'read'.

he had ignored the warning in the bio.

he didn't really understand what the author meant by 'smut', and was shocked when he finally figured out what it was.

seungmin had fallen a sleep while hyunjin was reading, and woke up to hyunjin shrieking and throwing his phone across the room.

tears began to pool in hyunjin's eyes, and his brain tried to wrap around what he just read.

seungmin yelled popping up from his bed, suddenly anxious about the older's sudden outburst.

seungmin didn't receive a response, and was only met by silence and soft sniffles from hyunjin.

the light was off leaving the room pitch black, but seungmin could tell hyunjin was crying.

Seungmin

Are you okay Jini?

seungmin kept his voice soft. he wasn't sure what to do. he was still tired, and had no idea why hyunjin was upset in the first place.

Hyunjin

Seungmin

Should i get changbin hyung?

hyunjin suddenly started sobbing, and seungmi swore he heard hyunjin softly gag.

Seungmin

Hyunjin! oh gosh! i'm going to get chan hyung okay? stay here, i'll be right back.

hyunjin was too focused on his beating heart to focus on the words of the younger,

he didn't even look up from his hands until he heard the click of the room door closing behind seungmin.

once he was alone, he pulled his knees to his chest and continued to cry in anger.

he was angry for a number of reasons.

for one thing, he hated how easily he believed all the things the video he had watched implied.

he hated to admit it, but those clips did make it seem like maybe changbin and felix were more than friends.

he felt his heart break as he thought about how it would be if they did,

and then his mind started swirling with the thought that maybe they did, and that changbin loved felix and not him.

he was especially angry at himself for being effected by the videos, and fanfictions.

he knew that stay meant no harm when they created those things,

and he also knew there was no reason not to trust felix or changbin,

but he couldn't help but cry harder as he began to question himself and his relationship with changbin.

the door of the room suddenly burst open, and the light flicked on revealing a worried looking chan, and a distressed looking changbin.

hyunjin felt himself cry harder as he looked at his boyfriend entering the room. he felt embarrassed.

seungmin hadn't returned back to their room.

he thought that hyunjin might have felt overcrowded if he, changbin and chan were there

so stayed back in chan and changbin's room waiting anxiously and wondering if hyunjin was okay.

Chan

Hyunjin-ah...

changbin mumbled, walking towards the younger.

hyunjin simply cried louder, burying his head in his hand to cover his face in shame.

he really hated feeling like this, and he especially hated feeling like this in front of changbin.

hyunjin couldn't help but wonder:...

'i bet felix doesn't embarrass himself in front of changbin like this...'

hyunjin felt the bed dip as changbin scooted closer to him, wrapping his arms around the younger.

hyunjin looked up with his bottom lip out, quivering.

changbin took the opportunity to look hyunjin in his eyes with a frown and pull the taller into his lap.

Changbin

hyunjin sniffed, feeling himself calm down in changbin's warm and comforting hold. he didn't want to respond.

instead he snuggled up further into the older boys lap, placing his head on his shoulder and grabbing his hand.

he stared at changbin's hand, trying to focus on the patterns he was drawing instead of the thoughts that were causing his heart to ache.

Changbin

Blood...

changbin whispered softly into hyunjin's ear. the younger just softly hummed in response

Hyunjin

his eyes were dry and his breathing was calmer. his face was still tear streaked, but he didn't have the energy to wipe them away.

he was tired, and simply wanted to fall asleep in the warm embrace of his boyfriend.

Changbin

can you tell me what got you so upset, please baby?

chan sighed as hyunjin stayed silent with a frown on his red face.

Chan

hyunjin-ah, we just want to help you. please talk to us...

chan felt his heart break as a single tear slipped out of hyunjin's eye.

Hyunjin

it’s just...

he paused taking a deep breath while playing with his fingers.

Hyunjin

...it’s embarassing

he muttered, hiding his face in the crook of changbin's neck.

the older rubbed his boyfriends back soothingly before turning his head to chan.

Changbin

can i just stay here will him tonight? you need to get sleep, and i don't think he will talk to anyone else.

chan pondered it for a moment. jyp had specially said he didn't want the two of them sharing a room

but he knew jyp would be more upset if they all stayed up all night because hyunjin couldn't calm down.

chan knew the best person to get hyunjin to talk was changbin,

so he decided to worry about the consequences in the morning.

Chan

okay. feel better hyunjin-ah...love you. good night you two

with that chan exited the room with one small glance at the couple, before leaving the room for the night.

changbin sighed

hyunjin-ah, let's lay down, yeah?

hyunjin simply nodded with a sniffle, slowly climbing off the older's laps to slide under the covers.

he opened his arms with a pout to motion to changbin to cuddle with him.

changbin smiled at how cute his boyfriend was, before walking to the room door.

Changbin

let me turn the lights out first bub

hyunjin smiled at the nickname, and snuggled deeper into the warm duvet patiently waiting for his boyfriend.

the two stayed silent as they cuddled in the dark.

changbin let hyunjin further calm down in his embrace, and hyunjin used the silence to collect his thoughts and take deep breaths.

he listened to the steady rhythm of changbin's heart with his eyes closed.

but he was curious as to why hyunjin was asking him now

hyunjin asked almost sounding annoyed. changbin sighed.

he sarcastically muttered, but because of the silence and their close proximity, changbin heard him.

hyunjin sighed, turing from his side to lay on his back as he stared at the dark ceiling with his eyes open.

changbin stayed quiet. he didn't want to say anything to upset hyunjin

but he was really confused about where the conversation was going.

changbin chuckled.

surely this was just another example of hyunjin getting too involved with the characters of a fictional story.

he had witnessed his boyfriend crying about dramas he watched plenty of times to know this was as not that unusual

though he had never reacted this badly before.

changbin’s smile suddenly dropped.

changbin didn't know what to say. he felt awkward, and embarrassed for some reason.

changbin choked on his spit, his eyes widening.

he wasn't sure which shocked him more, the words coming out of hyunjin's mouth, or how nonchalant he sounded saying them.

changbin suddenly felt bad. he imagined how he would have felt in hyunjin's position and now understood exactly why hyunjin was upset.

I'm sorry, blood.

he sighed, pulling the younger into a tight hug, resting his face in the taller's neck.

he placed a soft kiss on hyunjin's neck before speaking.

you know it's just fiction though. i love felix

but not as anything more than a brother.

hyunjin simply sighed. he still felt uneasy.

hyunjin froze, turning his head to face changbin who had leaned up from the younger's neck.

they had only been offically together for a few months

and because of work, they didn't have a lot of time alone to have these talks and go on dates.

hyunjin was shocked, but his heart swirled as a smile etched it's way on his face.

changbin grabbed hyunjin's face, bringing him closer to his face.

their noses were touching as they stared into each others eyes.

and i fall in love with you more and more each and every day.

hyunjin wanted to cry happy tears. changbin leaned in, pressing their lips together as hyunjin sighed into the older's embrace.

hyunjin felt his skin heat up, and his heart beat quicken. he was so happy, he was surprised he hadn't bursted.

I love you

hyunjin whispered as the two boys separated from the chaste kiss.

changbin smiled, pecking hyunjin's lips once before, before kissing is cheek and nose.

Changbin

good. because your're mine, forever.

hyunjin suddenly let out a giggle.

changbin simply laughed, pulling the younger closer to his chest.

the two lied silently basking in each others warmth, high off the heavy feelings of happiness and love wafting though the air.

Changbin

changbin interrupted the silence. hyunjin shot up from the bed.

Really?!

Changbin

yeah, i've read a few actually...

changbin laughed nervously

i want to read some!

hyunjin exclaimed, turning to leave the bed to grab his phone.

changbin laughed, grabbing the younger's arm before he could fully leave the bed.

Changbin

tomorrow, okay? we need to sleep.

Hyunjin sighed dramatically

he slipped back into the bed with a pout and changbin simply kissed him on the cheek and poked his lips softly.

good night changbinnie hyung.

hyunjin sighed in content getting comfortable back in changbin's arms.

changbin smiled satistfied

changbin closed his eyes and quickly fell asleep with a smile on his face.
